BB cream review : Baviphat BB special miniature gift set part 2

Today's post is to continue my previous post about this bb cream set, you can read part 1 here. I have 2 others bb cream from this set to review.. ok then so let's get started.

As i mentioned on the previouse post, i couldn't find the information on the net, maybe also because they don't produce the full size of this line. So what can i say from the name? v line? what is V line?i have no idea. lol but since this one is the only bb cream with SPF from this set, so this is the one i could use to go outside the house.

When i first tried this bb cream, i find it a little hard to blend and fit to my skin tone to look natural. First i thought i looked too white, or this bb cream is too light for my shade.. and it took longer time to adjust to my tone.. my face didn't look natural. and same like the moisture teardrop from this set, i needed more product than other bb cream to cover the whole face.

Then the other day i tried using primer before this one, and it became sooo easy to blend and absorbed easily, adjust to my skin tone right away and perfect to my shade. huh. so Without primer it was a little bit hard to blend and needed extra effort, but with primer, somehow it turned out good.

Anyway, this bb cream also has a good moisturizer like moisture tear drop, but maybe this one more acceptable for oily or combination. If with moisture tear drop my nose got oily after 4hours, with this one it didn;t feel that oile or it took more time (like 6-8 hours) until mu nose got oily.

The coverage is not so good as i found it a little bit hard to build the more coverage. i will end up looked too white ir ended up with white cast when i tried to add more cream on the area that need more coverage.

overall, not too special bb cream, although it's not that bad too, it didn't give me any breakout and the result was quite good.

yes.. finally the good one.. the best among this set..wait.. the name sounds not familiar.. supreme discolor.. discolor? and then when i first squeezed out the product i was surprised with the color. it's white! i was sceptical.. what kind of prouct is this? why is it white? it's something new for me.. i thought.. oh maybe it's a primer. so i just tried it.

look at this.. it's white! i tried to apply on my face with dot all over my face.. and to my surprise.. it's a magic cream!! it acted like bb cream as it somehow gave me coverage on some redness and vein on my cheek. and it even out my skin tone too!!wait.. it also smoothen my skin. woaaa.. what is this product?

The next day i tried using it as a primer or base before my bb cream.and.. the result was even better!! my face was smooth, flawless, nice finish, OMG i want this cream! it's good as a primer, and even just like this cream alone also gave me good result, although it's best to put bb cream after.
i hate it when i like a sample of a product and somehow it's not availble for sale. I was looking on the net about what kind of cream this one and other similar product, and i think it's something like lioele dollish veil bb cream or holika holika miracle skin finish. i'm gonna try lioele bb veil vita soon!!

as you can see, the shiny 2in1 (number 3 from the left) has different tone compare to moisture teardrop and v line. it looks like it has a yellow-orange tone.

overall, my favourite is the supreme discolor magic bb. in fact i will even buy the full size if they have!!

bb cream review : Baviphat BB special miniature gift set part 1

To be honest, i'm not too excited trying this although i loooove gift set.. why i'm not too excited? because bb cream on this set only available for this special gift set, not for sale in the big tube. Why? i really have no idea.. But i was checking on the net and it seems like they don't sale this on full size. In fact maybe it's no longer available on baviphat. Only seller from ebay, gmarket, etc still carry this set.

For me, well, it's been in my drawer since last year (woooopppsss) and i was trying many other bb creams (and as you may know.. it could take months and months to finish 1 tube.. it seems impossible to finish 1 tube of bb cream, specially if you are that kind of person who like to try something new..hehe) so by the time i finally get a chance to try.. it's been more than a year since i purchased this from iheartkoreanbeauty :), online seller based in Singapore.
and since there are 4 bb creams total in this set, i will divide it into 2 reviews..
First, let's see these cuties

I like the packaging.. each tube has a glossy finish packaging, looks pretty for travelling, not that kind of plastic tube. The cap is this silver twist cap..again, not that cheap look like plastic cap that i normally got from bb cream 8ml sample like this.

Ok then.. now i will start the review with the blue one,

Baviphat moisture teardrop 50% BB

Since they don't have the full size product for this, i couldn't find any information on the net. All i could do is just guessing from the name.. so.. the name is moisture, so it's suppose to provide good moisturizer and the target is people with dry skin. Teardrop 50%? what's that suppose to mean? lol well for me i'll just label it as moisture bb cream.

so here's the swatch

The shade is acceptable for me.. not too light and not too dark. the texture is also nice, not too thick and not too watery. The scent is just cosmetic scent, not perfumed or fragrant smell. When i first trying this bb cream, i find it a little hard to spread and blend..Comparing to other bb cream i recently used; holika holika aqua petit jelly bb and skin food good afternoon honey black tea bb cream; both are easy to blend-- while this one, i find it need a little bit more effort to blend it well on my skin. and it also need more amount of bb cream to cover the whole face than other bb cream i've tried. I squeezed out the same amount like other bb cream, and it turned out i needed more cream.

The other day i tried using primer before this, and it blended easier. But without primer, i needed more time and effort to set this bb cream.
Now to what it claim based on the name, which is moisture. o yes, in fact it is a good moisturizer, a good bb cream for dry skin. There was one day i was using this bb cream and didn't set with powder. Just this bb cream. 4 hours later.. my nose was shiny! shiny as in soooo oily... i was surprised because the weather still dry here although it's not that cold anymore, and normally during this time my nose less oily and my skin became dryer. With this bb cream, my face stay moisturized during the day my nose became oily again. But at least my face stay moisturised and no dry flakes.

overall, it's good moisturiser bb cream but as a bb cream it lack many things.. come on.. no SPF? these days all bb cream contain spf! and then the blending-spreading process also not as convinient as others.. so.. still poor comparing to other bb cream.

Ok, the name scare me already.. shiny? is it with glitter? i don't like bb cream with glitter!! and in fact yes it is bb cream with glitter..
so what to review? i don't even dare to try this.. so sorry girl..but anyway here's the swatch

The texture is watery, the most watery from all b cream on this set. the colour also a little bit different than the moisture one. This one has an orange tone.
The glitter? oh yes there is a glitter and it's sooo noticable. in fact although i wash my hand with water after this swatch, the glitter was still there!
So i'm sorry i didn't try this one on my face. i'm a housewife-mother, my daily activity is to take my daughter to her kindergarten, pick her up, shopping for grocery, baking cake in my kitchen.. why do i need a glittler on my face and look like a disco ball? maybe if you want to go at night to the club.. or party.. yes you can try this.. but for me,, these days.. no, thank u :)
 so that's it for now.. i will continue tomorrow with the other 2 bb creams from this set.

Face primer review : Baviphat Sugar girl all skin collagen primer

Sooooo.... it's almost the end of 2012.. This could be my last review post this year.. Next day i'm just gonna write about my favourite products of 2012, so this could be the last review this year. Did i save the best for last? lol yeah indeed.. maybe not the best but one of my favourite.

I've been searching for a primer that gave me smooth surface before putting my make up, and normally that type of primer comes in gel texture, not cream. I wanted something like revlon beyond solution primer. i liked it a lot, the revlon one at the end it tend to dry my face. But i liked it and finished it anyway. Then my previouse primer products since i was into korean cosmetics was Missha M BB boomer and Nature republic ice jelly primer. Both was a good primer base but didn't satisfied me since i wanted the silky smooth effect from a primer.

On my blogger comment box, one of my beauty blogger, frozen blossoms suggested me this primer, Baviphat sugar girl all skin collagen primer. You can read her review here. So on my next pre order, i ordered this one.

I like the tube packaging. This one looks like a color paint isn't it.. specially the cap.

I didn't know that there's english description on Baviphat packaging now. Last time (last year i think) i ordered baviphat product it was still all in korean.

Color and texture :

it's a transparent gel. Once i applied it on my face, it gave me this smooth surface i wanted. Yeaayyy!!!

it smoothen my pores, my skin, and prepared my face for the next step.

Together with bb cream on top, it gave me smooth flawless face, and even though i went out under the sun, sweat, in and out stores, when i came back home my face still looked good, not dull.

and it also didn't dry out my skin. another yeayyy!!!oh, and it's cheap toooo!!! compare to other primer that's rp.100.000 or above, this one below that price.

did i say sound to excited? in conclusion, i love this primer and will continue using it till the last drop. In fact because of this primer i'm sooo tempted to try the bb cream from this sugar girl line.

cleansing foam review : Baviphat milky strawberry latte mousse foam

I must have at least 1 cleansing lotion/water, 1 cleansing oil and 1 cleansing foam in my drawer. I just like each different type of cleansing for each different purpose. As cleansing foam, i like to use it in the morning to freshen up and clean the last night skin care i applied. This one, is not any other usual cleansing foam. This one is a mousse foam. yeah, i admit, i bought this because it sounds cute. haha. Well, it's Baviphat, who always manage to attracted me with their cute packaging, name and product itself.

So this one is Baviphat milky strawberry latte mousse foam. comes in an aerosol can with a pump. The tag line is "pore and deep clean". Not much information i can get from the net, and no english information on the packaging also.
This is the information i can get by googling :

Cleansing Foam contracting pores and removing wastes and caring cleansing and massage at once.


Directions for use
Take proper amount, apply on face evenly, massage 1-4 minutes softly and wash out with warm water

this is the pump. it's so easy to pump out the product

The colour is white.. You have to shake it before use, or else the texture inside would not mis completely. When i first using this I didn't shake it first and the product is more liquid, not moussy type, and the colour is seperated with with and light brown colour.. the brown is like the latte and the white from the strawberry.

The scent is sweet strawberry scent. at first i could smell between strawberry and coffee, but after a while i could only smell the milky strawberry.
look at the texture.. it's moussy.. it's actually just like a shaving foam. look at this :

Can you imagine you cover your fave with this? You would feel like your face covered with whip cream,, or shaving foam.
So how is it anyway?
i use this every morning while shower, massage gently on my face, oh it smells sweet and refreshing. The good thing is that it doesn't dry at all. As i washed it off with water, i didn't feel this foam taking moisturise from my skin, in fact i felt moist as i washed it off. it felt like when you rinse off scrub from your body.
So it's good as a cleansing foam, but as for removing make up it's not good. I tried to test removing some make up that i drew on my hand. The result is that it could remove the powdery make up like face powder, powder eye shadow, but it couldn't remove cream or gel make up like gel eye liner and even lipstick, it couldn't remove completly. So for me it's only for morning cleansing or the last cleansing step after i remove my make up with cleansing water first.

Overall,  i like it. I do... This is one of the stuff i will keep using until i finish it. Repurchase? hmmmm.. the thing is i always want to try something new!! 

mask pack review : Baviphat mangos teen yogurt park & vov daily fresh mini pack appla AHA peeling gel

woaa.. what a long title. lol. well, i have this to mini pack that only available for 2-3 times use, so i guess i'll make it short and review both in one post.

First, it's Baviphat Mango steen yogurt pack

what a cute packaging, as usual. The packaging is like butter or jam, cute and easy to carry around if you want to take some mask pack while you are travelling.

open the cap, you can see those light milky purple gel/cream like.

the texture is creamy-gel, similar like etude house yogurt pack or innisfree apple pack. Those 3 products are similar in packaging, texture and function actually.

This one, my first impression, it smells yummyyy.. smells like creamy yogurt, the yummy one.. made me want to sniff more and more.
So i applied this one night after cleansing my face, then waited for around 10 minutes then washed it off. i didn't experience any itchy or discomfort during waiting time. and when i washed it off, it felt sticky and i found it easier to wash it off with warm water.
The result? my face looked brighter instantly. yup, instantly and doesn't last long till the next day though. but it's quite good, i felt moisturised and brighter even for awhile.


Next is.. VOV daily fresh mini pack Apple AHA peeling gel

This one is actually a peeling gel. for a peeling gel this sachet is quite a lot, i can use it more than 3 times. Because you don't need that much to use on your face. a little amount is enough.

The texture is a very thick gel. it smells a little scent of apple, but not too strong and not too sweet and delicious scent.

How to use it, after cleansing your face, apply this peeling on dry face, rub it around gently, until it scrubed off like in the picture above. those gel will turn into small tiny scrubs particel, scrub it off from your face then wash off.

the result? well it's quite good peeling. i felt my face so soft when i touched it after. Not the best peeling anyway, i've tried better peeling than this. But for alternative, it's ok and i will continue using it until it finish.

cleansing review : Baviphat paprika trouble out facial foam

another quick and short review here..
i have another travel size product to try!! it's baviphat paprika trouble out facial foam. okay.. paprika? reallllyy? as in that thing for cooking? well, dont' worry it doesn't smell anything like paprika or your kitchen in lunch/dinner time. and trouble out? what kind of trouble here? no explanation in english.. is it acne trouble? oily/ big pores? well whatever it is, i'm just ready to give it a try.

first, as i told you, no paprika smell. it smells okay, just like any other facial foam or cosmetic product. the product is creamy one, not liquid.
i tried to clean my face with this in the morning. there's some dry feeling left during the washing off with water, but it was ok, doesn't make my face dry and no break out.

so overall it's just an okay product, so so, not something i would buy more.

Baviphat make up eraser review

Make up eraser? interesting! specially for me who is not expert in appying eye liner and sometimes still made a mistake. When i saw the pre order list, i was confused to choose between this  or tony moly. Tony moly also got something like this. But i chose baviphat because of the cheaper price anyway.
So what is this? it's a pen eraser to help you correct some mistake. Apply on area that need make up correction to partially remove make up.

i like the idea.  with this i don't need to panic when the eye liner or mascara smudges, no need for cotton bud and some remover to erase it.

Ok now i'll give you the details

the shape, the look is just like a white board marker. The tip of it, when you apply or rub to your skin you can feel there's a liquid which is a make up remover i think/

product test.. i drew a line with pencil eye liner (left) and gel eye liner (right).

applied the make up eraser pen on top of the line. as you can see the line started to dissapear. just continue rub it a little

and.. done!

what i think about this,
well, it saved me many times! mascara, eye liner, no need to worry anymore because everytime i made mistake or smudge this saved me! i remember last time i was in hurry for wedding and when i applied mascara, i blinked so it was smudge all over. Then i used this pen and voila! only some seconds and i corrected everything. My friend who was with me at that time was surprised and asked what i did. so i think this is a keeper. It's something that i will repurchase when i finish this. It's almost a year since i purchased this and still work fine and not dry out until now.

skin care review : baviphat fruit therapy samples part 2

On my previous post here i wrote about Baviphat strawberry toxifying mask, apple all in one peeling gel and apple ac therapy sleeping pack. I still have some of baviphat fruit therapy samples, so today i will review them!

first..Baviphat mango steam scrub

what is this? (Mango Steam Cleanses pores and exfoliates) Pores are gently warmed with relaxing mango steam and opens for deep cleansing. Natural scrub to remove old skin cells, blackheads and excessive sebum. Regular use for healthy pores and smooth skin. I read some reviews about this on some beauty bloggers, and many of them said that this scrub will turn hot as you rub it on your face, so becareful of that burning sensation. well, how is it for me?

first, it smells delicious! it smells like a mango jelly.. so sweet and yummy. love it...
the texture :

the texture is this creamy jell with some tiny scrubs.
So the first time i tried, i applied this scrub on my wet face, then rub and massage gently. i was prepared for the surprise of burning or hot feeling on my skin, but turned out i didn't feel that. Then i wash it off with water, and by the time i pat dry with towel, i started to feel the sensation. i felt my face warmed up. woaa,, why i got this effect late? lol but anyway it didn't hurt or burn feeling and didn't last long so it was ok for me.
The second time i tried this, i applied on dry skin. As i massaged gently, it turned warm! not hot, just warm but some might feel discomfort with that specially those with sensitive skin, could feel like burning i think. and then i washed it off with water, and that's it. it's easy and quick step one.
The result?
well, sorry to say that the result is not visible. I didn't feel much effect like brighten, super soft or super moisturised after using this. it felt just like a facial foam with scrubs. or maybe i should use this continuesly to see result, i don't know. for me it's just a nice sample from Baviphat but i will not buy the full size of this.


Next is..Baviphat lemon white sleeping pack

what is this? An overnight mask formulated with Vitamin C rich lemon extract suppresses melanin formation and prevent hyper-pigmentation. Arbutin then hastens skin whitening for a fairer complexion with beautifully even skin tone. Uniformly apply mask on cleansed skin before going to bed. Wash off in the morning. Regular use of sleeping mask diminishes the appearance of dark spots and freckles.

First, it smells sweet with a hint of lemon or citrus. the scent of lemon is not too strong, in fact by the time i applied this on my face the scent dissapeared and turned into just like normal unscent lotion.
the texture..

 it's a creamy gel-like, easy to apply, it felt smooth on my face.
i think this one is similar with the baviphat apple as therapy sleeping pack. Not superb product, but quite nice, it's just like a night cream for me. it kept my face moisturised during the night. and of course i can't comment on whitening effect since i only have samples.


and then,,Baviphat peach all in one waterfull cream

what is this? A multi-functional skin treatment minimizes pore size, brightens complexion and steeps skin with generous moisture, with a single application. Rich and refreshing cream is packed with vitamin C rich extracts that help whiten and brighten skin. Gently massage cream on cleansed and toned skin until fully absorbed. my experience with Baviphat peach all in one waterfull cream

it also smells delicious! it smells like a jelly.. peach jelly maybe? 
the texture..

a transparant creamy gel. easy to apply and feels smooth on the skin.
Overall, this peach cream remind me of skin food vita c cream for the texture, effect and the feeling on my skin, and tony moly multi play cream for the function as all in one or multi purpose cream.
I applied this at night as a night cream, and i really like it. A LOT. it moisturised my skin really well and smoothen my skin too. i like this cream. For this year i have ordered the skin food steam milk cream but maybe next year or in the future when i need an extra cream, i might get this one.


and the last but not least..baviphat peach all in one peeling gel

what is this? A multi-functional skin treatment exfoliates dead skin cells, minimizes pore size and brightens complexion with a single application. Peeling gel is packed with vitamin C rich peach extracts to whiten and brighten skin.

first, it smells fresh, sweet,, a hint of peach? not too peachy in my opinion. well, i think all baviphat products in this line they all smells sweet and delicious.. just what i like.
so this is another peeling gel from baviphat. for me it's just same like the apple peeling gel, what makes it different is only the scent. as for the effect  i don't feel the difference.

so... that's it for my baviphat samples. From this post my favourite is the peach all in one waterfull cream.
But overall, all this baviphat fruit line are cute products, from packaging and the scent. the effect some are just so so, but some are good, like the peach all in one waterfull cream and strawberry toxifying mask. so, if you are interested to try, just try it. or just ask for samples.

make up remover review : Baviphat Rice total make up remover

 

This is my new make up remover to replace my skin food milk shake point make up remover that i finished. I opened this one many many months ago but i didn't use this everyday because i also have innisfree lemongrass cleansing lotion that also good to remove make up. But recently i started using this everyday.

So it is Baviphat rice total make up remover. Not a popular product, as i was search for it on google, i couldn't even find the information in english about this product, and also no review. I know, i bought this without any recommendation or good review. So, how is it..?

First, the texture is not a lotion or gel. The texture is just like toner. even it feels like toner on the skin. clear/no colour, almost no smell.

 The power to remove make up is good..check this out

various make up from gel eye liner, pencil eye liner, lipstick, bb cream, cream blush.

i waited for a while til they get dry, and then.. let's remove it. Pour the make up remover into cotton pad, then gently swipe on the area.

Taraaaa...! it's clean! the gel eye liner is harder to remove than other make up, but it's still easy to remove with this one.

My experience with Baviphat rice total make up remover :

• Because the texture is just like toner, i suspected it contains alcohol (cannot find the ingridients in english), and i think it does. Because i felt my face a little bit dry after cleaning with this, specially if i didn't put moisturizer after right away. But if i put moisturizer right away, no problem.
• it's only to remove make up on ur face, not including eye and lip. it would be too hard for your eye and lip area. First time i tried this make up remover, i used it on my lip too. Actually it was quite accidently, as before using this i was using skinfood milk shake point make up remover, which is all in one make up remover, that i always use for lip and eyes area too. When i used this on my lip, not just that it was bitter, but also my lip gets dry straight away, and i remember... OMG.. i'm not suppose to use this on my lip and eyes too! it's not like skin food. So the next day i went to buy special make up remover for eyes and lip.
• Some weeks ago, i came home in the afternoon, and i removed my make up with this and i didn't put any moisturizer or anything else after that. At night, i noticed that my nose stay matte during afternoon. Not oily at all and as i touched my nose i couldn't feel the large pores or any white heads that used to stick there. I was quite surprised, and as i was recall what did i put to my face, i only cleaned my face with this and didn't pu anything else. So the next day, i was curious to try again. i cleaned my face with this in the morning (normally in the morning as i have no make up i just clean my face with facial foam), before putting any moisturizer and bb cream. The result is... it helped my nose to stay matte. no oily on the nose... woaaaa... greatt!! But i was affraid that it will make my face dry, so the next day i applied this make up remover on my nose only in the morning. woaaa... it's like a serum that treat my problem area now... (nose and chin). Normally i need to remove white heads on the nose twice a week with nise pack. But during the week i applied this make up remover on my nose after three days my nose still clean! woaaaa,,, but after a week i started to see those white heads again so i still have to removed them with nose pack. But from twice a week to once a week? that's a great progress for me!!
• I think thismake up remover is suitable for oily skin, or maybe normal to oily. Dry skin may experience some dryness after application. On that day i didn't put any moisturizer, oily part of my face which is nose and chin stay matte, but my cheek experience some dryness.

Overall, i really like this make up remover, not just because it good to remove make up but i also got some benefit which help my oily area.  My only concern is only that i don't know how many alcohol contained in this product. i think Baviphat should start putting some english information on their packaging like skin food or etude house.

skin care review : Baviphat pearl brightening gommage cream

To be honest, i don't know which category to put this one. is it a mask pack? peeling? At first, since i bought this, used this as my weekly treatment, until some minutes ago, i really thought it's a peeling/exfoliating product. Just when i started writing (or typing?) this review i just noticed, the word on the packaging is "cream". wait. why they named it cream? it's not a cream! so i searched on the net, and this is the information i found on www.baviphat.com.sg ;

“Pearl gommage cream for transparent and soft skin” Contains pearl extracts to brighten and soften dark and dry skin caused by excessive accumulation of dead skin cells. The cream will remove wastes from skin, and jojoba seed oil and green tea extracts will moisturize and nourish, leaving skin soft and smooth.
Directions for use
Apply evenly on dry face, avoiding the eye and mouth areas, and leave on for 3 to 5 minutes. Gently rub with fingertips, and rinse with lukewarm water.

Exfoliation, cleansing, moisturizing. Main Ingredients: Pearl extract: transparent and moisturized skin. Jojoba seed oil: smoothing. Green tea extract: flexible (bouncy? elastic?) skin. How to Use: 1. Spread on dry face, avoiding eyes and mouth. 2. After 3~5 minutes, push off excess cream with fingertips and wash with warm water. Pack Size - 100ml

and on Baviphat website it's under "pack" category, together with other mask pack products. With the name only, plus no information in english on the packaging, people could think that it's a face cream. Well, in my case, i knew this product from iheartkoreanbeauty.blogspot.com. there is a link to one of the customer's blog who bought this product and wrote a good review about it (sorry i didn't bookmark the link and i couldn't remember the nama of the blog). So i also got information, how to use from that blog.

Ok enough of the background story, i'll start with the review..


Packaging

100ml comes in this bulky plastic jar packaging. The design is nothing special, not as cute as other Baviphat products. There is another plastic cap inside. No spatula included, so feel free to dip your hand in it or use spatula if you have one.

Texture and scent

The texture is very thick and creamy, with a light grey colour. Actually the texture and scent it similar like volcanic or clay mask.
it's a very rich creamy peeling cream. you just need a little product for the whole face.

How to use and result
I used it after i washed my face and towel dried. Applied all over my fave, and started to massage gently in circular motion. normally i didn't wait 3-5minutes because i didn't like how it feel on my face when it gets dry, besides i found it easier just to massage it genly straightaway.
During that proccess, the cream started to work as a peeling scrub. The result is more less like this:

and there is even one more thing not written there, which is firming. Yes, i also felt my skin firmer after application. and extra moisturised too. Yeaaaaayyy. i like this. it's a good one for me.  Comparing to my previous favourite peeling which is etude house magic bubble peeling, etude house gave me more smooth polish skin result, while this baviphat gave me more moisturized and firm skin. so it's up to you which one you prefer. for me, i like both! and i will look forward to try more similar product like this from etude house or baviphat.
