I have this on my drawer for loong time until i got change to open it and start using it. before this holika holika jelly type bb cream i have similar type which is skinfood orange jelly bb cream. This one is quite popular among beauty bloggers i guess, i read some of their review and almost all of them was attracted by its cute packaging and concept. look at this :
Holika holika really made it looks like a jelly pudding. the picture on the box, and then the plastic jar for bb jelly looks just like a pudding or jelly from the supermarket. there is also sponge for the application.
there is a plastic cap inside, i didn't remove it, just opened it half.
this is the texture..
and this is the swatch
now.. what i think about this cute bb jelly..
first of all, i admit, it's the packaging and the cute name and concept that attracted me to buy and try this product. i just can't resist such a cute product!
so yes, the packaging is cute but at the end it's also the cute packaging that became a down side of this product. it's a jar, which is not to hygienic, you have to dip your finger back in and out.. or spatula. well, spatula not really work well for me. i used to have spatula but then i lost it.. i mean.. it must be somewhere in my drawer but i just couldn't find it. Using the sponge is also not hygienic. you have to wash it regularly (well yeah, i admit.. i'm the lazy type).
next is the bb jelly itself. yup, it's not a bb cream..it's a bb jelly! the texture really is like jelly. not creamy or liquid, but jelly-thick-like. just imagine a custard.. it's quite similar. ohh.. and it has a nice sweet scen too.
back to the texture and this bb jelly, once i applied on my face, it felt light but also moisturising. it doesn't feel heavy like foundation, but cover my face well. i really like how this bb gave me enough moisturizer during the day. i think it is suitable for both summer and winter, which is great!!
and then the shade, i chose number 2 which is the darker shade. and on the swatch it gave me a little orange tone, which is great, as it made my face looks fresh (imo). i like the shade, it suite me.
overall, i really like this bb jelly. i would put this on my fav list of bb cream but the jar packaging a little bit annoyed me. not just because the hygienic purpose but also it's too bulky and not convinient to travel. it's not something i want to put or carry around in my bag, also not something i will pack inside my travel luggage. But for daily use when i'm home, it's a good one!

skin care set review : innisfree olive real skin care kit
This time, it's innisfree olive real skin care kit. wait. i've tried this before loong time ago..maybe 2-3 years ago. yes i did, and i was quite happy, so when i saw one seller offer this set i bought it again. yeaaayy..
Olive real?
this is the information on the box:
olive real skin care kit with organic extra virgin olive oil
enriched with the best quality of organic extra virgin olive oil from crete island, olive real deeply nourishes skin and retains moisture for healthy radiant skin.
anyway this is what i got :
olive real skin / toner 15 ml
olive real lotion 15 ml
olive real eye cream 5 ml
olive real power cream 5 ml
olive real essential oil 2 sachet
now to the review, first is the toner and lotion
left : toner and right : lotion
Both toner and lotion have this nice natural-organic scent. it smells nice, sweet and not overpowering.
The toner is very thick, might be the thickest toner i have tried. it's not kind of liquid watery toner, but more like very light gel. but it's very refreshing and moisturising. i think this toner will be good for those with dry or sensitive skin. or in winter time when you feel your skin dry.
The lotion also thick and rich enough for lotion, not too watery, and in my opinion it's a very good moisturiser. it's rich enough to keep my face moisturized during the day. i don't have to put extra moisturiser in this dry season. but it could be to rich for those with oily skin or summer time though. i think if i use this while i was in jakarta it would make my face get or looks oily.
power cream and eye cream
left : power cream and right : eye cream
both are rich and thick cream. i thing the power cream is slightly thicker than the eye cream.
i use both only for night before sleeping. the power cream is very rich and it kept my skin moisturized during the night.
as for the eye cream, i don't use eye cream regularly maybe because i dont have budget for eye cream yet or not aware enough how important to use eye cream, or simply just lazy to add another routine on my skin care. but anyway since i have it now so i just use it at night, and cannot tell you the effect yet.
last but not least..olive real essential oil
essential oil? the texture is exactly just like an olive oil, well it is actually. and since it's olive essential oil so i guess it suppose to be multipurpose oil right.. that you can use all over your body from head to toe.
i was curious how to use this as a skin care, but i guess it would act like serum? so use it before cream? i'm not sure but last night i tried it that way. and woaaa.. this one smells lovely. the nicest smell among this olive line. and as i applied on my face, i thought it would be oily and sticky, but no,,, turned out it absorbed well and gave my skin extra moisturised. niceeee..
overall, i still like this olive line from innisfree, specially for extra treat in this dry winter season when my skin needs extra care. i would recommend this tho those with dry skin or for winter time, but not for those with oily skin and summer humid season.

cleansing review : Baviphat paprika trouble out facial foam
another quick and short review here..
i have another travel size product to try!! it's baviphat paprika trouble out facial foam. okay.. paprika? reallllyy? as in that thing for cooking? well, dont' worry it doesn't smell anything like paprika or your kitchen in lunch/dinner time. and trouble out? what kind of trouble here? no explanation in english.. is it acne trouble? oily/ big pores? well whatever it is, i'm just ready to give it a try.
first, as i told you, no paprika smell. it smells okay, just like any other facial foam or cosmetic product. the product is creamy one, not liquid.
i tried to clean my face with this in the morning. there's some dry feeling left during the washing off with water, but it was ok, doesn't make my face dry and no break out.
so overall it's just an okay product, so so, not something i would buy more.

quick post and review : innisfree olive real cleansing cream & holika holika secret source hydro skin & emulsion
Gotta catch up fast girls... many reviews coming up!! so i gotta start with quick review of sample products that i almost finished.
first, it's innisfree olive real cleansing foam
this is not my first time trying innisfree olive line. i've tried the sample of the skin care before (skin and emulsion), and this one is also the sample size, only 15 ml. based on my experience trying some innisfree products before, innisfree products are good when my skin dry or when the weather is dry, in my case, it's good for winter time.
This cleanser has a soft scent, i can't almost smell anything. and the product itself is creamy, not making so much foam although i mix it with water. on the face it felt soft, not drying and not too har for the skin. i wish i could say more but since it's only a sample size and i can only use it for around a week so not many thing i can say here. overall it's good cleanser, not my favourite, and with this mini size, recommended for travelling.
next, holika holika secret source hydro skin and emulsion
another sample from holika holika..and too bad to say, this one clearly not my favourite. first, the scent is too strong.. it's kind of perfum-y artificial scent, not a nice natural scent i like from skin care. so i don't know, maybe it's not good for those with sensitive skin. the hydro skin is ok, or quite good actually, refreshing and not drying, but the emulsion is way to light and too watery, it's not moisturised enough, specially in this dry weather here. i have to add more cream from other brand to add some moisturised. so yeah, not recommended for me, but i'll use it until finish anyway since it doesn't give me any breakout or bad reaction
so.. that's it for now!! as i told u, only quick and short review to catch up..

i'm back!!!! woaaaaa..it's been a long time.. since my last post! i was in my home town for the last 2 months and as i was in holiday mood, no time to catch up here!! but anyway, i'm back here and now i don't know where to start.. i guess when you stoped writing for awhile somehow you just don't know where to start. too many things to say to catch up here, so i'll start with some quick post and preview only..
and as for today, i'll share things i bought during my holiday..
This year i didn't buy much from online pre order..only some items from rie butik and chicprincessa. The rest i bought on the store. As you can see, i bought my fav korean products; skin food, etude house, innisfree, the face shop and tony moly. Did you know that now tony moly open a store in pondok indah mall 1? and i was surprised that the price is not high on tony moly store! yeaaayy.. another fav shop to visit. I also visited the new liole store in pondok indah mall but the price is a little bit high for me.
Anyway, that's for haul preview.. i'll share more soon..
