BB cream sample review : Missha M signature real complete bb cream

That's the picture for the Missha M signature real complete bb cream. i only got the sample sachet, which is very small, but enough for sample to try on. it could last 5-6days! this is the sample i got;

obviously, missha is not my fav korean product, i don't know why, maybe because the packaging is not as cute as others? hehe and also because the price is higher than skinfood-etude house-baviphat i guess. so far Missha full size product (not sample) i have bought only Missha M bb boomer and black eye liner (forgot the name coz it was a long time ago).
But for bb cream, i always excited to try more products. hehe. so i was wuite excited when i received this on my last haul. yeayyy. let's try this.
But before that, i googled for information about this product, and this is what i found;

my experience with Missha M signature real complete bb cream
it comes in 3 shade, which is no.13/light milk beige, no.21/light pink beige and no.23/natural yellow beige. the one i got is no.23 so it's the darkest shade. let's see the swatch below:

it looks a little bit darker comparing to any other bb creams i own, but of course, as it is a bb cream, it does its magic, blended perfectly and match my skin tone.
it smells just like any drugstore foundation. No sweet scent. the texture is light creamy, not too thin and not too thick. just perfect for a bb cream. and it's easy to apply too.

i'm impressed! it gave a nice coverage, it could cover my old acne scar too. the results is flawless, and also the oil control is not bad!! until 3 pm my nose area still not oily as usual. i like it!!!!!
but there's only one down side from this bb cream. when i was out under the sun (not stay inside air conditioned room), this bb cream made my face looks dull. when i came back home and i checked my face on the mirror, it seemed like there was a grey undertone from the bb cream that made my face looks dull.
But other than that, it's all great. almost perfect for me. too bad. or maybe i should try shade no.21. will i buy the full size? hmmm.. maybe. i will think about it. i'm tempted to try no.21.hehe
from the website information this is suitable for sensitive skin. at this time my face is normal-oily, not in sensitive mode, so i can't comment on that.

I know, this review is loooong overdue. all this bb creams are my old collection. wait, then where is my new collections? hahaha.. well, i submitted my order, need to wait for the goods to arrive.
all this time i guess i was so lazy to make this review, untilll some days ago i realized, some of my bb creams i finished even before i make a revies.. i looked everywhere for my BRTC jasmine water and gold caviar, i have them in 5ml jar, and when i finally found them... they are finish!! nothing left to even make a swatch.lol. so i decided to take a photo of this 4 bb creams before i finish them.

look at them. they are 4 different colours. missha #21 looks so white, missha #23 looks natural, skin food peach sake looks so yellow and banila co looks a little bit grey.. but magically they are all match my skin tone!!! this is something i am so amazed about bb creams. how come this 4 different colours can match my skin?

ok then, short review now.

missha #21 and #23
first i tried missha #23, i liked it, so i ordered missha #21 just because i was curious, and i like it even better. both gave me nice coverage, no need for foundation or concealer for me.i can't comment for oil control as i am not really oily type. what i like better from #21 is that it gave me more fresh look, while #23 at the end of the day made my face looks dull. although the colour of #23 suits me better, so natural while #21 looks  a little bit white at first application, but after 5minutes or so, it blended perfectly.

the skin food peach sake bb cream
i read reviews about this on some beauty bloggers and most of them didn't like this. well, yeah, it is so so. comparing to other skin food bb cream i've tried ; mushroom, aloe, agave cactus, this one is the last on the rank. the colour a little bit too yellow, although it blended well too, but it didn't provide good moisturizing for me, and the coverage also poor. anddd... the scent is weird, not as lovely as peach sake toner/serum/emulsion.

Banila co. let me bebe
Banila co. is not really famous in Indonesia. I mean, if you compare with skin food/etude house/the face shop. Maybe because they open their stores here, while banila co. you have to purchase online. well, this is bb cream i am using right now. it is so so for me. moisturizing and coverage are average, not great and not bad. only the scent that is a little bit minus... it smells soooo artificial.. not lovely or nice one, but kind of chemical..

I mentioned in my previous post that i have finished my skin food fresh juice c cream.Before i start using my peach sake skin care line, i decided to try samples i got. I still have my fresh juice toner so i used the toner and then for the cream i tried samples and decided to make short review each one of them.


tony moly vita vital MX7 cream
i'm not familiar with tony moly. In fact this is the first tony moly product i have tried. i don't know what this cream for. is it for oily sking, dry skin, anti aging/wrinkle care? i have no idea.. First impression for me is always the scent. i always put the cream close to my nose to sniff it before apply on my face. this one smell ok. Something medical-herb, but not strong. The cream it self, i was surprise that it kept my face moisturized all day. so it is rich, good moisturizer, but i don't like the scent.


beauty credit coenzyme Q10
same like tony moly, i'm not familiar with beauty credit and this is my first. i read on the net that coenzyme Q10 is one of their popular product. It smells just like regular cosmetic brand in the market., nothing special. the serum itself, i like the texture of this serum. in fact the texture is just the way i like it for serum. creamy but light, absorb easily, and good moisturizer.


Missha all around safe block soft finish sun milk spf 50+
SPF 50+ ??!! wow. i wish i knew this product 10 years ago when i was still in school and used to swim on sunday! lol. anyway.. i forgot when was the last time i have sun block! ever since i was in college, office, i always choose make up base or foundation with spf, until now that i use bb cream everyday. i just can't be bother to put another sun block cream. back to this cream, i was surprised that the texture is soo watery. what i remember sun block texture is a thick cream. or nowadays all sun block texture like this? anyway, it is watery, so it absorbed easily. very light scent, almost no scent for me. i used this before my bb cream, and it was just ok.nothing special

what cream? seriously, i don't know the name of this cream as nothing written in english. all korean. Ok, first impression, the scent. it smell herb, and the strong one! smells like natural medicine from herb. i don't like the smell of it. But the cream itself is quite good. just like the tony moly.not too rich, doesn't make your face oily.

first impression, of course, the scent. o my God.. it smells weird.. i can't describe it. herb-medicine smell, but imagine the 'not nice' one? i don't know, maybe it is just me. the cream it self is not rich enough to keep me moisturized all day, and the serum is very light.

next, skin food! what i like from skin food samples is that they are big size!! not like other brand samples. with skin food samples i can use them 3 to 4 times sometimes. this 2 samples in fact i bought them. yup, for skin food samples i don't mind buying them.

skin food green tea milk cleansing foam (fresh)
what i love about skin food is the scent, how they smell wonderful and yummy! and this one is dissapointed me. first, it smells just like regular cleansing from supermarket. no green tea or milk scent at all. second, this is the first time i experienced drying effect from a cleansing foam. i read many reviews about how cleansing foam can give you some drying effect, but i never felt that way, until now i know how it felt. When i rensed with water, i can really feel my face drying, i can even hear the squeaky of my hands rubbing my face.oh no...
or is it because it is fresh type, and they have moisturizing type?


skin food black sugar mask wash off
This is my second sachet of black sugar mask wash off. First time i tried it was 2 years ago when i got it for free from my purchase. i liked it, so when i saw this on chic princessa samples folder, i just clicked buy. it smells yummy, and feels good too. my face feels so smooth and moistured after wasf off.

Sempet bingung juga sih pilih2 primer.di rie butik tempat aku beli ini aja tiap brand ada primer.yang aku taksir dari skin food ada lettuce cucumber matte finish gel,dari etude ada baby skin base dan peach pore tightening base, sementara dari missha ada m bb boomer dan dari baviphat juga ada bb primernya.stelah browsing2,akhirnya pilihanku jatuh pada..missha.
Dari pertama coba oled di tangan, keliatan seperti ada gliternya agak nyaru.tapi setelah dioles dan meresap di muka,ga ada gliternya.efeknya sih seperti pelembab,formulanya ringan. Bagusnya muka keliatan lebih cerah dan ga kusam.dioles bb cream setelahnya, cling cling..bagus deeehhh pokoknya.

Downside nya, ini bener2 sperti namanya, bb boomer, cuma bikin aplikasi bb cream maksimal,melembabkan dan mempersiapkan kulit sebelum pake bb cream. Tapi ga berfungsi sbg primer kebanyakan yang bikin muka serasa diamplas dan mulus rata klo dipegang. Krn aku punya juga primer nya revlon yang gel bening itu, itu begitu dioles ke muka, bener2 pas dipegang muka alus rata,bekas2 jerawat dan komedo ngga keraba, bener2 bikin kulit siap di make up.
Sementara klo missha cuma melembabkan dan mencerahkan.
Aku sih lebih prefer missha klo utk sehari2 pake bb cream. Klo primer spt revlon buat aku sih utk klo sblum mau pake foundation,bedak fan full make up gitu

update march 2011--> believe it or not, i have this tube all this time i never read the description on the packaging. just now i read it. so it is said it contains pearl and will make your skin look brighter.. No wonder.. i can se some brightening effect.. in fact from the cream itself i can see some sparkle like glitter, but when i blend on my skin it dissapeared.

One more thing, one day my 2 year old daughter took this tube when i was not around, and she squeezed looots of amount... arrrrgggggghhh.... and she applied it to her face. reallyy loootts of it. and... her face sparkling!! all night i couldn't stop laughing when i saw her face bling bling.. hehe..

sample-sample ini set nya toner dan emulsion,, yang carrot ngga sempet di foto karena dipake pas di jakarta, habis trus dibuang dehh..

** skinfood carrot toner dan emulsion
enak,, seger,, refreshing bangeeettt.. wanginya juga enak.. aku cocok pake ini.. tonernya juga lembut, seger, ga bikin nyut nyut kaya kalo pake toner2 yang mengandung alkohol... emulsionnya ringan banget.. makanya aku agak ragu klo carrot ini suitable untuk di Yaman yang udaranya kering bangett.. agak nyesel juga ga nyobain carrot utk di yaman

** skinfood avocado toner dan emulsion
ini my new favourite.. aku pake pas di yaman.. awalnya aku pake seri skinfood fresh juice vit c yang aku beli di riebutik.. nahhh.. kayanya fresh juice ini lebih cocok buat summer, sementara sekarang udah masuk` winter di yaman,, udah mulai dingin dg udara keriiinng bgt.. aku pake fresh juice malah jadi agak kering.. langsung aku coba avocado,, ternyata avocado ini cocok buat winter..
tonernya enak, seperti carrot,, lembut dan melembabkan.. dan emulsionnya,, cukup untuk melembabkan dan ga bikin kulit kering,, makanya jadi penasaran klo emulsionnya aja rich apalagi cream nya.. hmmm kayanya tahun depan aku bakal beli set avocado botol penuhnya deh..

ini aku pake pas hari2 terakhir di jakarta dan pas baru sampai yaman,,
pertama, botol sample nya keciiiilll bangeeettt.. klo liat di foto, lebih kecil dari skinfood avocado... ini mah ga puass..
namanya super aqua, aku berharap ini bisa mengatasi kulit kekeringan dooong,,
tapi ngga, biasaaa bangeeettt,, formula emulsionnya terlalu soft ngga rich enough untuk melembabkab kulit aku di udara kering Yaman.. so, this is why we need sample.. kita bisa tau mana yang cocok dan mana yang ngga, jadi next time ngga salah beli..

update march 2010--> from all samples above, i'm thinking of buying the full size of avocado line.. i got confused between avocado and carrot, both i like. i like the freshness of carrot, but as i think it over, i think avocado would suit me better in this dry country. i'm gonna buy avocado cream on my next trip to jakarta!
