When the skin food launched this new line of good afternoon bb cream last year (was it last year already?) i could see the good response and antusiasm of beauty bloggers out there. Well, first, they are cute and comes with 5 variants you can choose : apple cinnamon tea, berry berry tea, honey black tea, peach green tea, rose lemon tea. and then the price is also in the lower side. i got mine for Rp.89.000 each from chic-princessa ready stock products. If you ordered from pre order it would be even cheaper.
As a fan of skin food, i wanted to grab all of them! lol but well, i managed to just got 2 of them which is this honey black tea and peach green tea.
This is information for each line :
Good Afternoon Honey Black Tea BB SPF 20 PA+ contains moisturizing honey and skin-firming red tea extract to keep skin soft and glowing.
Good Afternoon Peach Green Tea BB SPF 20 PA+ contains vitamin-rich peach and oil-controlling green tea, promoting a fresh matte complexion all day long.
Good Afternoon Rose Lemon Tea BB SPF20 PA+ contains revitalizing rose and hydrating lemon tea for a firm, dewy complexion.
Good Afternoon Apple Cinnamon Tea BB SPF 36 PA++
contains skin-brightening apple and detoxifying cinnamon tea along with
clinically proven skin lighteners to promote a bright complexion with a
subtle glow.
Good Afternoon Berry Berry Tea BB SPF35 PA++
contains the anti-aging superfood, acai berry, and raspberry tea along
with clinically proven wrinkle smootheners to keep skin smooth and firm.
so I bought honey black tea and peach green tea, i was planning to use honey black tea during winter and peach green tea for summer. and for now, i only opened the honey black tea and keeping the peach green tea for later..
i like the packaging.. it's inside the tube, simple and compact enough to carry for travelling. it contains 30 g, which is enough for people who like trying new products like me.
information from the packaging..
i like the promise there.. long lasting bb cream that helps maintain bright morning skin throughout the day without darkening or smudging..
Firat, the scent,, it has a light hint of honey which i actually like, not too overpowering, and a light hint of honey is nice and better than regular cosmetic or perfume scent.
i got mine for shade number #2. shade #2 of skin food bb cream normally fits me and perfect for my shade.
the texture and swatch..
The texture is light creamy.. perfect for me, not too watery and not too thick. very easy to apply evenly, blended and absorbed perfectly without waiting too long..
the shade is as i expected, it's just my tone. perfect shade for me. But the coverage is only light to medium, although it's buildable, you can apply more if you think you need more, but still the coverage for me is just like for a day light, not for a formal or night make up. To go to some occasion not casual or daily shopping, i prefer other bb cream with more coverage.
after blended..
My experience with this bb cream..
i decided to started using this bb cream on that time when my face started getting dry.. about 1 and half month ago.. my skin started effected by dry winter.. my skin became dry on some areas, i started to see some dry flakes... rrrrrggghhh.. and i thought, this is a good time to test this new bb cream to see if it's good and has a healing effect..
and.... less than a week (around 5 days..) i could see the result immediately. This bb cream has a healing properties for my dry skin!! When i applied this on my dry skin area, it moisturized the dry skin and cover the dry flakes and after some days the dry flakes were totally gone!! it also didn't make the sensitive part even worse. so it's the right bb cream for me to use when my skin needed some healing! bye bye dry flakes and sensitive skin..
Overall, i like this bb cream a looot.. i'm happy that i got this and excited to try the other variants (even all variants if possible.. lol)

BB cream review : Baviphat BB special miniature gift set part 2
Today's post is to continue my previous post about this bb cream set, you can read part 1 here. I have 2 others bb cream from this set to review.. ok then so let's get started.
Baviphat triple v line cover BB SPF 45/PA+++ (the yellow-gold one)
As i mentioned on the previouse post, i couldn't find the information on the net, maybe also because they don't produce the full size of this line. So what can i say from the name? v line? what is V line?i have no idea. lol but since this one is the only bb cream with SPF from this set, so this is the one i could use to go outside the house.
When i first tried this bb cream, i find it a little hard to blend and fit to my skin tone to look natural. First i thought i looked too white, or this bb cream is too light for my shade.. and it took longer time to adjust to my tone.. my face didn't look natural. and same like the moisture teardrop from this set, i needed more product than other bb cream to cover the whole face.
Then the other day i tried using primer before this one, and it became sooo easy to blend and absorbed easily, adjust to my skin tone right away and perfect to my shade. huh. so Without primer it was a little bit hard to blend and needed extra effort, but with primer, somehow it turned out good.
Anyway, this bb cream also has a good moisturizer like moisture tear drop, but maybe this one more acceptable for oily or combination. If with moisture tear drop my nose got oily after 4hours, with this one it didn;t feel that oile or it took more time (like 6-8 hours) until mu nose got oily.
The coverage is not so good as i found it a little bit hard to build the more coverage. i will end up looked too white ir ended up with white cast when i tried to add more cream on the area that need more coverage.
overall, not too special bb cream, although it's not that bad too, it didn't give me any breakout and the result was quite good.
last and the best of the 4..
it's Baviphat supreme discolor magic BB
yes.. finally the good one.. the best among this set..wait.. the name sounds not familiar.. supreme discolor.. discolor? and then when i first squeezed out the product i was surprised with the color. it's white! i was sceptical.. what kind of prouct is this? why is it white? it's something new for me.. i thought.. oh maybe it's a primer. so i just tried it.
look at this.. it's white! i tried to apply on my face with dot all over my face.. and to my surprise.. it's a magic cream!! it acted like bb cream as it somehow gave me coverage on some redness and vein on my cheek. and it even out my skin tone too!!wait.. it also smoothen my skin. woaaa.. what is this product?
blended out
The next day i tried using it as a primer or base before my bb cream.and.. the result was even better!! my face was smooth, flawless, nice finish, OMG i want this cream! it's good as a primer, and even just like this cream alone also gave me good result, although it's best to put bb cream after.
i hate it when i like a sample of a product and somehow it's not availble for sale. I was looking on the net about what kind of cream this one and other similar product, and i think it's something like lioele dollish veil bb cream or holika holika miracle skin finish. i'm gonna try lioele bb veil vita soon!!
comparison of the swatch
without flash from left to right : moisture tear drop-triple v line-shiny 2in1-supreme discolor magic
with flash.
as you can see, the shiny 2in1 (number 3 from the left) has different tone compare to moisture teardrop and v line. it looks like it has a yellow-orange tone.
overall, my favourite is the supreme discolor magic bb. in fact i will even buy the full size if they have!!

bb cream review : Baviphat BB special miniature gift set part 1
To be honest, i'm not too excited trying this although i loooove gift set.. why i'm not too excited? because bb cream on this set only available for this special gift set, not for sale in the big tube. Why? i really have no idea.. But i was checking on the net and it seems like they don't sale this on full size. In fact maybe it's no longer available on baviphat. Only seller from ebay, gmarket, etc still carry this set.
For me, well, it's been in my drawer since last year (woooopppsss) and i was trying many other bb creams (and as you may know.. it could take months and months to finish 1 tube.. it seems impossible to finish 1 tube of bb cream, specially if you are that kind of person who like to try something new..hehe) so by the time i finally get a chance to try.. it's been more than a year since i purchased this from iheartkoreanbeauty :), online seller based in Singapore.
and since there are 4 bb creams total in this set, i will divide it into 2 reviews..
First, let's see these cuties
from left to right:
the blue one : Baviphat moisture teardrop 50% BB
the pink one : Baviphat shiny reflection 2in1 BB
the white one : Baviphat supreme discolor magic BB
the yellow-gold one : Baviphat triple Vline cover BB SPF45/PA++
The shade is acceptable for me.. not too light and not too dark. the texture is also nice, not too thick and not too watery. The scent is just cosmetic scent, not perfumed or fragrant smell. When i first trying this bb cream, i find it a little hard to spread and blend..Comparing to other bb cream i recently used; holika holika aqua petit jelly bb and skin food good afternoon honey black tea bb cream; both are easy to blend-- while this one, i find it need a little bit more effort to blend it well on my skin. and it also need more amount of bb cream to cover the whole face than other bb cream i've tried. I squeezed out the same amount like other bb cream, and it turned out i needed more cream.
The other day i tried using primer before this, and it blended easier. But without primer, i needed more time and effort to set this bb cream.
Now to what it claim based on the name, which is moisture. o yes, in fact it is a good moisturizer, a good bb cream for dry skin. There was one day i was using this bb cream and didn't set with powder. Just this bb cream. 4 hours later.. my nose was shiny! shiny as in soooo oily... i was surprised because the weather still dry here although it's not that cold anymore, and normally during this time my nose less oily and my skin became dryer. With this bb cream, my face stay moisturized during the day my nose became oily again. But at least my face stay moisturised and no dry flakes.
overall, it's good moisturiser bb cream but as a bb cream it lack many things.. come on.. no SPF? these days all bb cream contain spf! and then the blending-spreading process also not as convinient as others.. so.. still poor comparing to other bb cream.
next to review..
Baviphat shiny reflection 2in1 BB
Ok, the name scare me already.. shiny? is it with glitter? i don't like bb cream with glitter!! and in fact yes it is bb cream with glitter..
so what to review? i don't even dare to try this.. so sorry girl..but anyway here's the swatch
The glitter? oh yes there is a glitter and it's sooo noticable. in fact although i wash my hand with water after this swatch, the glitter was still there!
So i'm sorry i didn't try this one on my face. i'm a housewife-mother, my daily activity is to take my daughter to her kindergarten, pick her up, shopping for grocery, baking cake in my kitchen.. why do i need a glittler on my face and look like a disco ball? maybe if you want to go at night to the club.. or party.. yes you can try this.. but for me,, these days.. no, thank u :)
so that's it for now.. i will continue tomorrow with the other 2 bb creams from this set.

I like the packaging.. each tube has a glossy finish packaging, looks pretty for travelling, not that kind of plastic tube. The cap is this silver twist cap..again, not that cheap look like plastic cap that i normally got from bb cream 8ml sample like this.
Ok then.. now i will start the review with the blue one,
Baviphat moisture teardrop 50% BB
Since they don't have the full size product for this, i couldn't find any information on the net. All i could do is just guessing from the name.. so.. the name is moisture, so it's suppose to provide good moisturizer and the target is people with dry skin. Teardrop 50%? what's that suppose to mean? lol well for me i'll just label it as moisture bb cream.
so here's the swatch
The other day i tried using primer before this, and it blended easier. But without primer, i needed more time and effort to set this bb cream.

The texture is watery, the most watery from all b cream on this set. the colour also a little bit different than the moisture one. This one has an orange tone. The glitter? oh yes there is a glitter and it's sooo noticable. in fact although i wash my hand with water after this swatch, the glitter was still there!

bb cream review : holika holika aqua petit jelly bb
I have this on my drawer for loong time until i got change to open it and start using it. before this holika holika jelly type bb cream i have similar type which is skinfood orange jelly bb cream. This one is quite popular among beauty bloggers i guess, i read some of their review and almost all of them was attracted by its cute packaging and concept. look at this :
Holika holika really made it looks like a jelly pudding. the picture on the box, and then the plastic jar for bb jelly looks just like a pudding or jelly from the supermarket. there is also sponge for the application.
there is a plastic cap inside, i didn't remove it, just opened it half.
this is the texture..
and this is the swatch
now.. what i think about this cute bb jelly..
first of all, i admit, it's the packaging and the cute name and concept that attracted me to buy and try this product. i just can't resist such a cute product!
so yes, the packaging is cute but at the end it's also the cute packaging that became a down side of this product. it's a jar, which is not to hygienic, you have to dip your finger back in and out.. or spatula. well, spatula not really work well for me. i used to have spatula but then i lost it.. i mean.. it must be somewhere in my drawer but i just couldn't find it. Using the sponge is also not hygienic. you have to wash it regularly (well yeah, i admit.. i'm the lazy type).
next is the bb jelly itself. yup, it's not a bb cream..it's a bb jelly! the texture really is like jelly. not creamy or liquid, but jelly-thick-like. just imagine a custard.. it's quite similar. ohh.. and it has a nice sweet scen too.
back to the texture and this bb jelly, once i applied on my face, it felt light but also moisturising. it doesn't feel heavy like foundation, but cover my face well. i really like how this bb gave me enough moisturizer during the day. i think it is suitable for both summer and winter, which is great!!
and then the shade, i chose number 2 which is the darker shade. and on the swatch it gave me a little orange tone, which is great, as it made my face looks fresh (imo). i like the shade, it suite me.
overall, i really like this bb jelly. i would put this on my fav list of bb cream but the jar packaging a little bit annoyed me. not just because the hygienic purpose but also it's too bulky and not convinient to travel. it's not something i want to put or carry around in my bag, also not something i will pack inside my travel luggage. But for daily use when i'm home, it's a good one!

BB cream review : Hanskin caviar gold bb cream
Hanskin? This is my first try of Hanskin product. When i saw this on iheartkoreanbeauty, i just wanted to try it. First because it's sample size, then because it contains caviar, which i had a nice experience with skin food gold caviar line and BRTC caviar bb cream (both i tried the sample size only).
To be honest, i think Hanskin is not too popular brand in Indonesia or among beauty bloggers i follow. I bet thet know about the brand Hanskin, but not many using this brand.
Anyway, i got the sample/travel size only for this one, with no information in english on the packaging of course, so i googled before writing this review.
This is the full size tube looks like ;
and this is sample/travel size i got;
information about this product (from http://www.buybbcream.com) :

information about this product (from http://www.buybbcream.com) :
Product Description

and diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Enriched with
caviar extracts and white gold peptide Hanskin Caviar Gold B.B Cream

vegetable vitamins and other nourishing ingredients strengthen and
whiten skin to create a healthy glow and improve elasticity. Boosts the
resilience of skin, makes skin velvety-soft and rejuvenated. It also has
good oil control power without compromising your skin’s moisture level.
Recommended for dry skin types
How to Use:
Apply as a foundation or as a base before your foundation.
After applying basic skin care products, use appropriate amount and apply the BB cream evenly on the skin staring from the center of the face.
My experience with Hanskin caviar gold bb cream :
Firat, the packaging, i like this sample size packaging. with a gold plastic cap and gold tube colour, it looks elegant and expensive!
it's very handy, convinient to carry around.
The bb cream, first the texture is creamy, not watery type, but it's light and easy to apply.
The colour/ swatch, at first i thought it would be too light for me, but turned out it blended well and adjust my skin tone just right.
the good thing about this bb cream is that the oil control is good. i could feel the different effect on my oily-large pores nose. on my previous post Holika holika soda pore cleansing i mentioned about the good oil control when i was using both holika-holika cleansing and Hanskin. i tried to use them seperataly, like today holika holika soda pore cleansing and not applying this bb cream, and next day using other cleanser and then apply this bb cream. And the result is.. it was better when i applied this bb cream only. So the result i felt lateley was mostly from this bb cream. But of course, with a right cleanser, like Holika holika soda pore cleansing for example, the effect would be even better.
What effect ? well, my oily nose stay matte longer, started to get oily only after around 6 hours (normally around 3 hours only). although from the information i found this bb cream is targeted for dey skin, but it turned out the oil control is great too. and the moisturizer also great! my face didn't get dry and keep moisturised with this bb cream.
ok, so far it's all good. but it's still not perfect though. what i don't like is the coverage. it's like almost zero coverage. like i don't wear bb cream. i like my bb cream to give me nice natural flawless look, the look that after applying bb cream i felt like i don't need to apply powder on top ( i'm a house wife with daily activities only cooking-shopping-mall window shopping-playing with my daughter-hang out with friends--so that kind of look is enough for me). in fact it's been awhile that i didn't use loose powder and compact powder. But this bb cream,, hhhmmm it's just like a tinted moisturiser. after applying this my face still looks pale and naked, and also it didn't cover my old spot. In conlusion, i don't like the finish look of this bb cream.
So, it's a little bit confusing here, the oil control and moisturizer are good, but the coverage is not good, not like bb cream finish look i wanted. so i like it as a base only. yup, maybe it will be good as a make up base. But definetely not my type of my fav bb cream.
- Anti Wrinkle, Whitening and Sun Protective (SPF 21)
- It is suitable for those looking for a lighter shade B.B cream with a dewy finish
- Features caviar extracts amongst other natural ingredients
- 30ml

BB cream sample review : Missha M signature real complete bb cream
That's the picture for the Missha M signature real complete bb cream. i only got the sample sachet, which is very small, but enough for sample to try on. it could last 5-6days! this is the sample i got;
obviously, missha is not my fav korean product, i don't know why, maybe because the packaging is not as cute as others? hehe and also because the price is higher than skinfood-etude house-baviphat i guess. so far Missha full size product (not sample) i have bought only Missha M bb boomer and black eye liner (forgot the name coz it was a long time ago).
But for bb cream, i always excited to try more products. hehe. so i was wuite excited when i received this on my last haul. yeayyy. let's try this.
But before that, i googled for information about this product, and this is what i found;
seems promising huh..
my experience with Missha M signature real complete bb cream
it comes in 3 shade, which is no.13/light milk beige, no.21/light pink beige and no.23/natural yellow beige. the one i got is no.23 so it's the darkest shade. let's see the swatch below:
it looks a little bit darker comparing to any other bb creams i own, but of course, as it is a bb cream, it does its magic, blended perfectly and match my skin tone.
it smells just like any drugstore foundation. No sweet scent. the texture is light creamy, not too thin and not too thick. just perfect for a bb cream. and it's easy to apply too.
result ?
i'm impressed! it gave a nice coverage, it could cover my old acne scar too. the results is flawless, and also the oil control is not bad!! until 3 pm my nose area still not oily as usual. i like it!!!!!
but there's only one down side from this bb cream. when i was out under the sun (not stay inside air conditioned room), this bb cream made my face looks dull. when i came back home and i checked my face on the mirror, it seemed like there was a grey undertone from the bb cream that made my face looks dull.
But other than that, it's all great. almost perfect for me. too bad. or maybe i should try shade no.21. will i buy the full size? hmmm.. maybe. i will think about it. i'm tempted to try no.21.hehe
from the website information this is suitable for sensitive skin. at this time my face is normal-oily, not in sensitive mode, so i can't comment on that.

BB cream swatch&review : skinfood best BB collection gift set
I bought this set from www.chic-princessa.com. The set contains 3 small tubes skinfood bb cream; mushroom, aloe and red bean. I guess they are best seller bb cream so they named the set as "Best BB collection". well, i have tried skin food mushroom and aloe before, and i liked them so when i saw this set i just bought them. it's always nice to have it in small tube so you can carry them everywhere, plus i got a chance to try the red bean one! yeaayyy.. Anyway, let's start with the swatch and review of them.
Mushroom
This mushroom line, from what i read before is for the wrinkle care and whitening. For me it is just so so. it is good bb cream, but not the special one. it smells nice fragrant (don't worry, it doesn't smell mushroom). i think it is suitable for normal skin. when my skin is normal i'm good with this bb cream. but when my skin getting dry or sensitivie, this won't do anything more to protect my skin.
i got this in shade 1. it suits me fine, but i think shade 2 would match my skin better. the texture is nice, light creamy and easy to apply. coverage is light to medium, can't cover blemish or any dark spot well.
aloe
This aloe i think suitable for sensitive skin, irritated skin, dry skin, summer, winter.. well. i'm sure i have mentioned about this bb cream many times in my previous post, how this bb cream is one of my favourite. well, for me this bb cream suits for summer, winter, and even when my skin was irritated and sensitive, this one is like my secret weapon. hehe.
it smell similar like mushroom bb cream, those nice skinfood fragrant type.the texture is light-creamy, easy to apply. i also got this one in shade 1. well, i think both shade of skinfood is ok for me.this one also provide onli light to medium coverage.
red bean
this red bean, from what i read is for dry skin. and i think it is really good for dry skin. i tried this one during this winter (well, it is still winter here) when i need extra moisturiser. and i'm happy that this bb cream can protect my skin during the day from getting dry. it smells similar like both mushroom and aloe. i don't know but for me they all have similar scent. this one also has a light-creamy texture. and as for coverage, i found it better than mushroom and aloe. some weeks ago i had this new blemish spot and for a while it left me a spot on my cheek, and i could cover it with this red bean bb cream. i didn't need extra concealer. i just applied a dot more on the spot, and that's it.
i also got this in shade 1, which is ok but again, i think shade 2 would be better in me, and i think if it was shade 2 this could be on my top 5 bb cream list. i don't know. i think so.
swatch all 3 bb cream
from left to right : mushromm-aloe-red bean. can you see the difference? i can barely see it. only that he aloe looks a little bit with pink tone i think.
let's see again with the flash;
with the swatch now i can see the red been is the lightest from all 3 and the mushroom is the darkest, although all are shade 1.
in conclusion, i like all 3 bb creams. no wonder why they call this set as the best collection. i don't even mind to buy another set of this, if it comes in shade 2.
