Cleansing review : skin food wine bubble cleansing foam

After finishing My baviphat strawberry latte mousse foam, now i'm using this one from skin food, wine bubble cleansing foam!! First time i tried skin care with wine was innisfree wine peeling softener and innisfree wine sleeping pack, and i loved the scent. So when i saw skinfood released this cleansing foam with wine, i thought "i must try that one too!"
 anyway before i get started.. this is some information i googled;
and there is also some english information (thank God) on the back of the packaging. Just peel the sticker off to see some english information
First, the packaging is this nice plastic bottle with pump. I like pump bottle! it's hygienic, easy to use, specially in bathroom or when you clean your face while shower in the morning. The bottle is see through so you can see how many product left.

the pump
Now the scent.. is it as good as innisfree wine product?
yes it is!! well, it's different kind of wine scent. i'm not expert in wine, i don't even drink wine but i like the smell of it. lol. While the innisfree wine smells strong grapy-wine, this one smells sweet and softer, lovely and only a little hint of wine.. but overall it smells sweet and lovely, and the smell stays there for awhile even after i rinse off with water and off to my dressing room to put toner and cream, i could still smell it. So for me this is lovely but for some people who prefer unscented cleansing product, they may not like this one.

The foam..

This is a bubble cleansing type, so the moment you pump out, it came out bubles already, not that type of cleansing foam that the texture start with cream then after you rub on your hand with water it will turn to foam and bubbles. This one is really bubble texture, and the first time i felt it on my hand i could feel how soft it is.
this is what it looks like when i massage and rub it on my hand.
The bubbles really felt soft and light on my face, didn't give any dry or tight feeling. It cleans and freshen my face really good in the morning. as for the night, i don't think it will be able or enough to remove make up or all the dirt from the whole day. for night cleansing, this is only for the second step after cleansing water. It's been a month i'm using this as daily morning cleanser, and i'm loving it so far. i'm a half way bottle already, so maybe it will last for 2 months only.

overall?
looove this cleanser, one of skin food's great product that suit me.recommended for people with dry or sensitive skin because it's soooo light and soft fot the face.

cleansing foam review : Baviphat milky strawberry latte mousse foam

I must have at least 1 cleansing lotion/water, 1 cleansing oil and 1 cleansing foam in my drawer. I just like each different type of cleansing for each different purpose. As cleansing foam, i like to use it in the morning to freshen up and clean the last night skin care i applied. This one, is not any other usual cleansing foam. This one is a mousse foam. yeah, i admit, i bought this because it sounds cute. haha. Well, it's Baviphat, who always manage to attracted me with their cute packaging, name and product itself.

So this one is Baviphat milky strawberry latte mousse foam. comes in an aerosol can with a pump. The tag line is "pore and deep clean". Not much information i can get from the net, and no english information on the packaging also.
This is the information i can get by googling :

Cleansing Foam contracting pores and removing wastes and caring cleansing and massage at once.

Directions for use

Take proper amount, apply on face evenly, massage 1-4 minutes softly and wash out with warm water

this is the pump. it's so easy to pump out the product
The colour is white.. You have to shake it before use, or else the texture inside would not mis completely. When i first using this I didn't shake it first and the product is more liquid, not moussy type, and the colour is seperated with with and light brown colour.. the brown is like the latte and the white from the strawberry.

The scent is sweet strawberry scent. at first i could smell between strawberry and coffee, but after a while i could only smell the milky strawberry.
look at the texture.. it's moussy.. it's actually just like a shaving foam. look at this :

Can you imagine you cover your fave with this? You would feel like your face covered with whip cream,, or shaving foam.
So how is it anyway?
i use this every morning while shower, massage gently on my face, oh it smells sweet and refreshing. The good thing is that it doesn't dry at all. As i washed it off with water, i didn't feel this foam taking moisturise from my skin, in fact i felt moist as i washed it off. it felt like when you rinse off scrub from your body.
So it's good as a cleansing foam, but as for removing make up it's not good. I tried to test removing some make up that i drew on my hand. The result is that it could remove the powdery make up like face powder, powder eye shadow, but it couldn't remove cream or gel make up like gel eye liner and even lipstick, it couldn't remove completly. So for me it's only for morning cleansing or the last cleansing step after i remove my make up with cleansing water first.

Overall,  i like it. I do... This is one of the stuff i will keep using until i finish it. Repurchase? hmmmm.. the thing is i always want to try something new!!

cleansing oil review : skin food black sugar cleansing oil

Last time when i was in Jakarta i was looking for this item on skin food store @ senayan city and Gandaria city, but both store didn't have this item. i don't know if it's not available in Indonesia's market or what. I didn't buy it online because i'm affraid my limit time in Jakarta was not enough to wait until the package arrive (pre order item could take up to one month unless you order when the seller is about to close the batch, it will take up to 2 weeks). Anyway.. when i travelled to china, i found this on the skin food store there.. yeaayyy..

so i need at least to have one cleansing oil in my house,, i chose this because i've tried skin food black sugar mask and i liked it, so i should just try this one.
i like the packaging.. the pump, and how there's a safety clip on the pump.
Have you tried the famous skin food black sugar mask? if you like it you may like this one too, because i do.
First, the scent.. it's similar like the black sugar mask. it smells sweeeeeettt.. smells something like sugar? or burned brown sugar? whatever it is, i like it and enjoy the scent.
i used it at night only. if i have make up on i would use cleansing water or make up remover first then this one. if no make up that time, just straight using this.
so, just like cleansing oil, it is oily, just rub it with circular movement on your dry face. You know what impressed me from this? i always thought that cleansing oil is for dry skin and for me i only use cleansing oil on winter when the weather is so dry and effected my skin to get dry too. But surprise surprise for me, it's also good for my large pores nose and chin! my nose and chin are the oily part of my face with large pores. when i rubed this cleansing oil on my nose, i felt i scrubed off my pores on my nose!! seriously!! so after cleansing, not just my face is clean but also reduce pores on my nose!! my nose felt smooth too!! yeaaayy...
and also it didn't dry my skin, so many extra point for this one!

yup.. i said all good things about this. by now you will know that i like this cleansing oil. i may try other cleansing oil but if at the end i couldn't find any more good cleansing oil i'd go back to this one for sure!!

cleansing review : etude house cleansing dream fresh cleansing water

This year i bought some etude house products in the counter, not from internet. it is more expensive, of course.. but to look around the cute etude house shop, try out some products, way more fun than online shopping. Plus, the free gift is more tempting. when i bought online normally i only got some sachet samples, but buying offline, last time i got the travel set of their new skincare! anyway, i think i'll have to make seperate review about my etude house purchase.

This time let me just write about this cleansing product. So i was looking a cleansing product to remove make up, to use with cotton bud. Normally i'd go with cleansing lotion or cream. when i saw this, i thought ok, let's give it a try of cleansing water. i did some test on my skin, and bought this.

First, the packaging is simple but still cute and girly. i like the pump. packaging with a pump is my favourite. it's hygienic and when the product almost finish you could just open it manually to dig in the leftover product.
How to use it, you pump the water to cotton pad, then wipe clean your face.
the texture is.. of course, water. yup, just like water. i used to clean my make up with cleansing lotion because i thought cleansing water contain more alcohol that will make my face dry. I don't know if there's alcohol in it or how many alcohol in it since i lost the box. I kept it, but i think my maid threw it away.
But what surprised me.. it doesn't make my face dry!! yeayy i'm happy with that. it cleans well, and since it's not cleansing lotion type, so there's no oily or sticky feel after cleansing.
as in the power to erase make up, i will show you with pictures
various make up : eye brow pencil, gel eye liner, eye shadow, lipstick and cream cheek blush
voila!!! it's clean.. well, there's a thin black shadow from the gel eyeliner. it's waterproof gel eye liner and normally i cleaned it with eye make up remover so it still ok for me.

my overall conclusion?
i think from now on i will convert to cleansing water. seriously.. bye bye cleansing lotion.. lol, well, i'd try cleansing lotion if there's cute cleansing lotion product, but mostly i will just buy cleansing water like this but different variant or brand.

cleansing review : Baviphat paprika trouble out facial foam

another quick and short review here..
i have another travel size product to try!! it's baviphat paprika trouble out facial foam. okay.. paprika? reallllyy? as in that thing for cooking? well, dont' worry it doesn't smell anything like paprika or your kitchen in lunch/dinner time. and trouble out? what kind of trouble here? no explanation in english.. is it acne trouble? oily/ big pores? well whatever it is, i'm just ready to give it a try.

first, as i told you, no paprika smell. it smells okay, just like any other facial foam or cosmetic product. the product is creamy one, not liquid.
i tried to clean my face with this in the morning. there's some dry feeling left during the washing off with water, but it was ok, doesn't make my face dry and no break out.

so overall it's just an okay product, so so, not something i would buy more.

cleansing review : Biore 2in1 cleansing wash

This Biore 2in1 cleansing wash was so popular among Indonesian beauty blogger last year. I remember around last year before i travelled to Jakarta I read many posts about this product. I think around 4 or even more indonesian beauty bloggers i followed wrote a post about this. So of course, i was interested. By the time i was in Jakarta i bought this from Supermarket (It's available in almost big markets). But then since i also purchased korean cleansing products, so i kept this one aside. I tried it a few times when i was in jakarta, and since i finished my innisfree apple cleansing oil, now i decided to back to this one.

So what is it?
This is claims as 2 in 1, as a face cleanser and make up remover. Really..?it sounds too good to be true right, a make up remover in cleansing wash?
The information on the packaging is quite good an clear, so if you have no clue about what it is, you can read the information there.
So from the information written there, it claims to remove make up, sun screen/sun block, make up base, foundation and dirt. it also give moisturizer and will not make your face dull. Woaaaa,,, what a magic cleansing! well, let's try it out first.

the texture :
it's like light liguid soap, not thick. it smells ok.. well, actually it smells similar like biore body wash, but this one smells lighter and softer.
add a little water, and it will foam like this. it's easy to foam and feels light.

how to use :
squeeze the product out to your hand, add a little water to make foam, then massage gently on your face, rinse with water.
To see if it really remove make up, i made this test;

various make up; lip gloss, lipstick , gel eye liner, pencil eye liner, bb cream, pencil eye shadow.
then i started to rub the cleanser gently. some make up started to melted with the cleanser.

yup.. that's the result!! i couldn't remove the gel eyeliner with this soap although i tried to rub it many times and even added more soap. So it turned out that it can't remove waterproof make up, and in fact as you can see from the picture, other make up also not removed compeletely. You can see there is a trace of colour make up there.

what i think about this..
Well, since it coudn't remove all make up, i will not use use it as a make up remover. I will use this as a second step of cleanser only. So i still use cleansing oil or cleansing lotion, then use this one to remove all the residue.
Maybe it is good as a face cleanser to remove dirt, but not make up. I actually like this cleanser because it doesn't make my face dry or feel tight.it's a good cleanser for the morning, and sometimes i also used it at night but when i din't put make up or if i did, i used this after other cleanser.
Overall, for a product that you can find in supermarket with very affordable price, this is quite good.

make up remover review : Baviphat Rice total make up remover

This is my new make up remover to replace my skin food milk shake point make up remover that i finished. I opened this one many many months ago but i didn't use this everyday because i also have innisfree lemongrass cleansing lotion that also good to remove make up. But recently i started using this everyday.
So it is Baviphat rice total make up remover. Not a popular product, as i was search for it on google, i couldn't even find the information in english about this product, and also no review. I know, i bought this without any recommendation or good review. So, how is it..?

First, the texture is not a lotion or gel. The texture is just like toner. even it feels like toner on the skin. clear/no colour, almost no smell.
The power to remove make up is good..check this out
various make up from gel eye liner, pencil eye liner, lipstick, bb cream, cream blush.
i waited for a while til they get dry, and then.. let's remove it. Pour the make up remover into cotton pad, then gently swipe on the area.
Taraaaa...! it's clean! the gel eye liner is harder to remove than other make up, but it's still easy to remove with this one.

My experience with Baviphat rice total make up remover :
  • Because the texture is just like toner, i suspected it contains alcohol (cannot find the ingridients in english), and i think it does. Because i felt my face a little bit dry after cleaning with this, specially if i didn't put moisturizer after right away. But if i put moisturizer right away, no problem.
  • it's only to remove make up on ur face, not including eye and lip. it would be too hard for your eye and lip area. First time i tried this make up remover, i used it on my lip too. Actually it was quite accidently, as before using this i was using skinfood milk shake point make up remover, which is all in one make up remover, that i always use for lip and eyes area too. When i used this on my lip, not just that it was bitter, but also my lip gets dry straight away, and i remember... OMG.. i'm not suppose to use this on my lip and eyes too! it's not like skin food. So the next day i went to buy special make up remover for eyes and lip.
  • Some weeks ago, i came home in the afternoon, and i removed my make up with this and i didn't put any moisturizer or anything else after that. At night, i noticed that my nose stay matte during afternoon. Not oily at all and as i touched my nose i couldn't feel the large pores or any white heads that used to stick there. I was quite surprised, and as i was recall what did i put to my face, i only cleaned my face with this and didn't pu anything else. So the next day, i was curious to try again. i cleaned my face with this in the morning (normally in the morning as i have no make up i just clean my face with facial foam), before putting any moisturizer and bb cream. The result is... it helped my nose to stay matte. no oily on the nose... woaaaa... greatt!! But i was affraid that it will make my face dry, so the next day i applied this make up remover on my nose only in the morning. woaaa... it's like a serum that treat my problem area now... (nose and chin). Normally i need to remove white heads on the nose twice a week with nise pack. But during the week i applied this make up remover on my nose after three days my nose still clean! woaaaa,,, but after a week i started to see those white heads again so i still have to removed them with nose pack. But from twice a week to once a week? that's a great progress for me!!
  • I think thismake up remover is suitable for oily skin, or maybe normal to oily. Dry skin may experience some dryness after application. On that day i didn't put any moisturizer, oily part of my face which is nose and chin stay matte, but my cheek experience some dryness.
Overall, i really like this make up remover, not just because it good to remove make up but i also got some benefit which help my oily area.  My only concern is only that i don't know how many alcohol contained in this product. i think Baviphat should start putting some english information on their packaging like skin food or etude house.

cleansing foam review : Holika Holika Soda pore cleansing foam

I loooove sample size product like this! yeah, i bet you knew that already by now. Well, this time i got holika holika soda pore cleansing. When i first saw it, i really thought it's a baking soda cleansing just like the one from etude house. When last week i decided to try this one, i just noticed that the name is soda pore cleansing, without a word "baking" on front. Wait.. so it's not a baking soda. it's a soda. what's the different? lol. i have no idea because there's no english explanation on the packaging
This is how the full size packaging looks like;
the information about the product (i just googled it)
 Product description

:Formualted with Harrogate soda water 10000 ppm, mineral, baking powder, switzerland alpine herb.

:Provides nutrition and cares of pores to create bright and smooth skin

▶ Instruction

:Make a foam enough, apply it to your face, and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

.. and they also released some other cleansing type for this line ;
Hilika holika soda cleansing powder wash, O2 bubble mask, cleansing water, cleansing oil and foam. Look at the packaging. it's blue! just like etude house baking powder line, aren't they?

Anyway, here are some more information about this line:
(pictures from ebay, seller bellogirl)

Ok, now let's back to the cleansing foam and my experience using this for a week and more.
First, the scent is actually similar like etude house baking powder cleansing foam, but this one is a little bit too overpowering. the senct of etude house baking powder cleansing foam is sweeter than this. This one smells like an air perfume that you hang on the car. but it's ok though. still nice scent for me.

Second, the texture. it's a light creamy lotion with white colour. There is this tiny super soft scrub particles that i couldn't feel it on my hand, but later when i massage around my face i could feel those tiny super soft scrub particles
when i rub it on my hand with water, it doesn't foam much. But it's ok, in fact some people prefer this way. for me it's just ok as long as it cleans well.

when i applied and massage gently to my face, i could feel that the formula is soft and light, but as i wash it off with water, just like many other cleansing foam type, i could feel it took off some natural moisture from my face, leaving it felt dry. For some people maybe will even experience some tight feeling. not for me, though.  just need to applied toner and moisturiser and everything will be good, no dry feeling.

What i like most about this that i felt this cleansing foam mattify my nose area (the oily part of my face). i like tha matte feeling adter washing and applied moisturiser. I really think it really did a pretty good job on that. For this last 1 week i felt my nose less oily, and there are 2 new product i tried this week, which is this one and a bb cream from hanskin. which one helps to reduce the oily on my nose, could be both, or maybe i should make some test to make sure.

in conclusion, yeah i like it! and i'm thinking to get another type from this line, like the cleansing water. i think this one will be good for oily skin. so, have you tried other type of this holika holika soda cleansling line? tell me your experience!

Cleansing review : Innisfree originated lemongrass brightening cleansing lotion

On my last time purchased with iheartkoreanbeauty, Baviphat applemint skin care i ordered was discontinued, so i changed my order into something else, and this cleansing lotion is one of the replacement products i bought. i needed cleansing lotion at that time and i chose this because it was ready stock and i like innisfree products.

Just now when i'm writing this i'm also looking on google for more information about this product, but unfortunetly i couldn't find any. no information about what it contains and benefits. and no english information on the packaging too. so, i'm clueless here.. hehehe. the information is only from the name. "brightening" and "lemongrass" so yeah, i only know that it contains lemongrass and the benefit is brightening. that's it. hehe. well anyway for more information i'll just let you girls know more from my experience.

First, the packaging.. just the way i like it. it's a pump bottle. plastic, but doesn't make it look cheap. there is a safety clip on it, which is very usefull when you have kids who like to discover everything. hehe.
the texture is very light lotion, like some of korean emulsion. the smell, hmmmmm,,, it smells so fresh. smells like a lime candy. i like it!

Now, for the power as a cleansing product, i'll test it to remove some make up.

i drew some line of various make up products; eye brow pencil, pencil eye liner, gel eye liner, lipstik, bb cream, pencil eye shadow. then pump some amount of the lotion on top.

then i started rubbing the lotion with circular motion gently. look, the make up started melting with the lotion.
last step is to wipe it off with cotton pad. taraaaa..!! clean!

what i think about this product :

i think it's a good cleansing lotion. the cleansing power to remove make up is great, the smell is nice, doesn't break me out, doens't dry out my face. But for better result i used to follow up again with cleansing foam and water. without cleansing my face again with water and facial foam i could feel some oil residue, like my face became oily. but overall, this is a great product and in the future i will look for other cleansing product from innisfree!

Face soap review : Baviphat sugar girl egg herb soap in jasmine

Time for another cute stuff!!
it's Baviphat sugar girl egg herb soap! yup, i bought several egg soap from my last year purchase. holika holika egg soap, tony moly egg soap, and this baviphat egg soap. there are 3 variants, if i'm not mistaken, which is lavebder (purple), green tea (green) and jasmine (yellow). I wanted to buy the lavender one but at that time it wasn't available and the seller offered this one instead. as you all might now, egg soap is targeted to oily skin or skin with large pores. so, let's take a look this cute egg..
look at the packaging and the shape, just like an egg! what i like first thing about this soap, even before try it, is that it come with this plastic container egg shape, unlike holika holika and tony moly soap. Holika holika and tony moly soap comes with carton packaging, which you can't put them in your bathroom, so you have to prepare a small container to keep them.
voila! open the plastic container, here comes the egg!
this is the plastic container. when the soap is finish, what can i use this for? hemmmm i could give it to my daughter, as she likes to play pretending cooking, baking, etc. or i could use this to store some small accessories like pin, ring? hemmm.. any idea?

and this is the soap. the size is like a real egg with a pale yellow colour. the moment i opened the plastic container, i could smell the jasmine scent straightaway. yup, the scent is quite strong!

my experience with baviphat sugar girl egg herb soap

Based on my experience with holika holika and tony moly egg soap, this kind of soap will give me that squeeky clean feel and could dry my skin sometimes. so i thought this would be similar like that.
well, first i tried to make a foam with it buy rubbing it between my hand with water, and it's easy to make foam or bubble with this soap. then i massage gently on my face, it felt smooth and moisturised during that step. then when i wash it off with water, the squeeky began. i could feel and even hear my skin make that squeky sound. it cleans well, although i'm not sure if it's good to remove make up too. but i think this soap is good as your second step cleansing after your cleansing lotion/milk/cream/oil.

next, after finish washing my face, i'm glad that i didn't feel my skin getting dry or tight. But i have to put toner and moisturizer straight away. if i didn't, my face will get dry. anyway, the good thing is,after using this soap i felt my nose area tighten, not bumpy with pores. and then after some days, i started using etude house mini size u pore astringent and serum. and somehow they are good together! like this soap and etude house skin care complete each other and maximize the result for each other! after cleansing my face with this soap, continue with etude house mini size u pore astringent and serum, voila!!! my face very smoooooth, can't feel those large pores, specially during the night. when i tried to pair etude house with cleansing oil, the result is different!! but this egg soap with etude house mini size u pore, i got great result!

what i don't like about this soap is that the jasmine strong is too strong, and the scent changed during foaming and massaging on my face. from jasmine changed to weird soapy smell. Other than that, everything else are good. it could last long i guess, it's cheap, great result, specially if you continue with skin care for oily or pore care.

my conclusion, so happy to anounce this, this is the best egg soap comparing to holika holika and tony moly egg soap!! yeaaaaayyy! not a perfect soap for everybody though. i think this is good for oily skin only. for dry skin, i think this will make your skin feel dry and tight.

Cleansing review : skin food gold kiwi sun cleanser

If you think i'm done with skin food gold kiwi products review, then you are wrong, cause i still have one left. in fact i noticed that i have it lately. Somehow i remember that i saw this sample sachet before, so i checked on my box full of skin care/make up sample sachet, and i found this! it's Skin food Gold kiwi sun cleanser!
This is how it looks;
and this is the sample i have;
the sample sachet is the big one, not the small sachet. one sachet can be used around 4-6 times i guess.

when i first saw this i decided to try it out right away while i'm still using the gold kiwi skin care set. but i wasn't sure how to use this. i didn't even know, is it cleansing oil, cleansing foam, cleansing milk? because it only said "gold kiwi sun cleanser", no more words about what kind of type this is. and why there is a word "sun" over there. sun screen? what is that supposed to mean? so before i started using it i have to look for more information on the net.  I couldn't find any reviews from blogger, so i looked on the skin food's website.

from skin food's website :
GoldKiwi Sun Cleanser is an exclusive sunscreen cleanser that removes all traces of sunscreen with microfine oxygen bubbles while brightening sun-damaged skin. Plus a substance found in gold kiwis restores your skin from inside, which might have become dull and dry from exposure to ultra sunlight.

* To Use
Dispense 5 to 6 pumps into dry palms and smooth over the entire face. Massage until oxygen bubbles are visible. Rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water.

i was quite surprise when i read that. oh, so it's a kind of oxygen cleansing that will form an oxygen bubbles. i've never tried that type, so i'm excited. The information from the website also explained my question before about the word "sun cleanser". so it's good to remove sunscreen or any products with SPF i guess.

so let's try this product then.
this is how it looks at first. the texture is a light gel, smell sweet like other line of gold kiwi, but this one smells stronger. i started to massage gently,

look how it looks now!! i'm impressed! i thought, how could that light gel transform into oxygen bubbles? so after massage the cleanser my face all covered with this white foamy oxygen bubbles.in fact i don't thin you will need 5to6 pumps like the information on the website. i think 1 or 2 pump would be enough. i applied too much at first, and my face looked like covered with whipped cream.
and look how it looks after you give more time.
it's interesting product!
Now, the result is.. i felt my face realllllly clean and fresh. i like how my face looks after cleaning with this. but the clean result is a type with squeky- i don't know how do you call this, but maybe for people will feel that tight feeling after cleansing, but as for me it was only that squeky effect. at first i thought i have to put cream straightaway or it will get dry, so i did. but the second time i tried this i waited to see what will happen, and i was surprised that somehow my skin turned out to be smooth, not dry. But of course, you still need to apply lotion or cream to keep your skin moisturised.

in my opinion, this is another good product from skin food. i don't know if i will but the full bottle of this one, because sooo many new interesting products from skin food i want to try!
