mask sheet review : my beauty diary earl grey tea macaron & skin food juice white cheek sheet

This would be my last post before i travel to Jakarta tomorrow.. Normally i don't update or write my blog when i was there, but this time i will stay quite long there (around 3 months) so i hope i could spare some time to write in here but well,,let's see :) anyway.. today i'm gonna write a review about mask sheet. Since normally mask sheet will be just a short review, so i'll just put two of them in one post.

First it.. My beauty diary Earl grey tea & macaroon sheet mask

As you may know by now, my beauty diary is my fav brand for mask sheet because of the cheap price, nice result, nice scent, all in all, everything is just nice for me. and this one? OMG from the name itself it's tempting already. tea and macaroon?who doesn't want to try that?
From the name, of course i expected some sweet or delicious scent from this mask..but i guess now i'm dissapointed by my own expectation just because it doesn't smell delisious as i thought it would be. The scent of this mask is really light in fact, i have to really sniff to it to be able to smell something.. There is only a light hint, sweet scent, not something delicious or yummy..lol. But anyway it's just a scent and i think many people prefer product like this anyway, with only a hint of sweet scent.

The quality, just like any other my beauty diary mask, never fail me. it did good as a mask sheet. It's sooo watery, moisturizing and hydrating, that although i put it on my face for 30 minutes it still didn't get dry. It also didn't give me any uncomfortable feeling like itchy, redness or rash.. it was a smooth comfortable 30minutes during this mask on my face.
and the result after using this mask, i got a fresh-brighten face, felt so hydrated. another nice mask sheet to keep!


Skin food Juice white cheek sheet

Actually it's not a face mask sheet. as you can see from the name, it's a cheek sheet. Yup! it's only for your cheek area!

can you read the description from the packaging? i hope it's clear enough.. well the promise is to minimize current skin discoloration and help brighten complexion.
But i was wondering.. why only for cheek? why not the whole face?
this is the cheek mask looks like..

it looks like an eye patch but bigger.. but in my opinion, it's still to small for cheek. it didn't cover the whole cheek.. only upper part of it. Or maybe my face to chubby and most korean girls have slim face? haha..

The mask itself is not like any regular mask sheet,, it's like with a jelly texture in it..

So last night i tried using this cheek mask.. put it on my cheek area and i left it for around 30 minutes..it felt a little bit cold, nice cooling feeling, didn't give me any discomfort, didn't make my cheek itchy. Then after 30minutes i removed it..
the result?
nothing!
seriously.. nothing!
i don't see anything.. no brighten complexion or at least brighten and glowing cheek maybe? lol.. well of course there's no such thing like a magic product where you can get instant result, but sometimes mask sheet or mask pack can give you instant brightening or glowing or any other effect although only temporary. and this cheek mask didn't give me that.
of course, it's written in the packaging,  "apply 2 or 3 times per week"  so one application is not enough? but cmooon.. who will use this 2-3 times per week? well not me... with a price even more expensive than a mask sheet but only cover cheek area, i would just go for a regular mask sheet like my beauty diary than this one.

sleeping mask review : The face shop Raspberry slim&lift sleeping mask

Sleeping mask became part of my routine since i first tried it almost 2 years ago. I just like the idea of extra care while sleeping. I don't use it everyday, maybe only once to twice a week. So after i finished etude house sleeping pack tube and many sleeping pask sample, i decided to buy a new one, and i chose this one from the face shop, raspberry slim&lift. Actually i wanted to try the raspberry root sleeping mask version but it seems like it was discontinued and this is the new version, i'm not sure, but i've been looking in some my fav sellers and only this one available..

anyway.. what is this product anyway?

a little bit information from the bottle : "facial contours are toned and lifted while you are sleeping"
that's it? no more information in english? ok then, i'll look on the net..
well, this is more information i googled;

The packaging is this nice simple looking plastic pump bottle, with a plastic cap. The pump is easy to use, so far i don't have problem with the pump

The texture..

it's a transparant light gel. How to apply this sleeping mask is just apply evenly as your last step of skin care before sleeping. After washing your face, toner, serum or emulsion or cream, apply this as your last step. First time trying this, i could feel this is soo light.. not rich or creamy like a night cream. i was hoping it would be or feel richer since it's a sleeping mask. The scent, it's a sweet fruity scent, very light and not overpowering. i don't think it smells like any berries but it's just a hint of fruity scent anyway.

So i was expected it would give me extra moisturized during the night, but i was dissapointed. my skin care cream is richer and more moisturized than this. Ok then, extra moisturized maybe not what it promised. In fact it promised slim and lift... BUT.. a big but here, i don't feel any lifting effect either. do i have to use it continuesly to see more result? but some other mask i could feel the lifting effect instantly although not permanently. This one is not even instantly. No softer face, firm and lift face, nothing really. it's just a light moisturizer for me and i'm not a fan of it :(


Maybe i expected too much? well, i had a good experience with etude house sleeping pack, innisfree wine sleeping pack, holika holika honey sleeping pack..so i was hoping this would be good too.. but anyway.. since it didn't give me any breakout or rash, i will just continue using this until i finish the whole bottle i guess..

face mask review : Innisfree jeju volcanic pore clay mask

This is one of innisfree famous product out there! i've been reading many reviews about this, and i've been wanting to try since 2 years ago.. But always distracted by other cuter or more interesting mask. lol.. yup.. i'm the type who can't say no to cute lovely products, so that's why it's been awhile for me to finnaly have this one. In fact this one i bought in Shanghai, when i visited innisfree store and bought a set of innisfree products, including this one.

anyway, to get it started, this is information i found on the net..

 

From the picture above..it's clear that this mask is targeted for skin with pores, blackhead, extra sebum.. it will be good for those with oily skin..

First, the packaging.. i like the packaging..it looks classy, strong..first i thought it's made from glass but no, it's made from some kind of plastic but the good, thick, solid one, not kind of cheap-thin plastic. The size is also perfect. Not too big, not too small. just enough for people who like trying new stuff like me. Sometimes when the jar is too big and the product too much i don't know how to finish it and i can't take it for travelling. But this one, it's convinient for travelling too. I will take it with me when i travel to Jakarta by the end of this month.

Open the cap, there is this another plastic cover, which is good. No spatula included though. I don't know if you buy not with set if you will get spatula, but i don't get spatula. i don't like to dip my finger in it since it's sticky and not hygienic but i don't have extra spatula :(

The texture is this creamy thick paste, with brown-greyish color, just like any other volcanic mask i guess. The smell is ok, of course since it's volcanic mask, i can't expect sweet or delicious smell, but thank god at least it doesn't smells bad. it smells.. well, just like volcanic mask. i've tried other volcanic mask before and they are all have similar scent.

This is how it looks like when spread out evenly.. I used my finger to spread out on my face, although i would like to use a mask brush but i don't have any at this moment. Well, surprisingly, it was easy to apply with my hand. at first i though it would be messy, sticky and not spread evenly but it wasn't.. it was easy and smooth to apply, i could decide how thin or how thick i want to apply the layer of the mask.

After i applied evenly on my face, i was waiting for around 10-15 minutes. it will get harden a little bit, but the good thing is not too much, not that kind that will make your face stiff and you can't even talk. It will only get harden a little bit and for me it didn't give me any discomfort like itchy or redness after use

To remove the mask, it could feel like the mask stick on your face and need a little effort to remove it completly. try to use warm water, it's better and easier. I needed to rub and massage circular with water to remove the mask.

The result?
I felt my fave smoother and matte. not that silky smooth, but a little bit smooth, tight and matte. i felt my pores on my nose tightening. So it really is for pore and sebum care, and targeted for oily skin. because i dont feel extra moisturized effect from this mask. and i used this mask at night on the weekend, the next morning when i woke up and shower late, i felt some part on my skin a little bit dry. I think it was because the effect of the mask from the night before. The mask made my face really matte that's good for my oily nose but not good for other part of my face like my cheek.

Overall, this is really good treatment for oily skin, but not for dry skin. it will make your skin even dryer. But for a pore or sebum care, this is a good mask!
I like it and i'm thinking to buy other variants of this innisfree mask. They even have in 30 ml, i think it would be cute..

 

mask sheet review : Baviphat juicy mask sheet grape & my beauty diary aloe mask

So these are 2 mask sheet products i use this last 2 weeks. Normally i only used mask sheet every 3 weeks and using wash off pack/mask in the other 2 weeks, but lately my skin has been drying with some dry flakes (euuuggghhh) and some redness so i was using mask sheet 2 weeks in a row (once a week).Well, there's no other better time to test out a mask sheet than when you have some trouble on your face right.. so here we go..

First i'll start with Baviphat juicy mask sheet in grape
I bought this from chic-princessa, my fav online seller who sell variety of ready stock cosmetic and skin care products, for Rp.14.000. This grape variant is for lifting and bright purpose, as written on the packaging. And this is some extra information from the net (from ebay, after googling)

My experience with baviphat juicy mask sheet grape :
First, it smells lovely and sweet. i couldn't smell grape in it, but i could smell a little hint of candy smell? The size of the mask sheet is fit to my face, not too big (some mask sheets are too big too my face that it could end up with many folds of the mask on my face), this one ended up good on my face. It is so watery, and there's some more liquid left in the packaging that you can apply or massage on your face after you are done with the mask.
When i used this mask, my face felt dryer than usual, maybe because of the dry weather too here, and i started to spot some dry flakes on my cheek, forehead and upper nose.. uh ohh... my face is getting dry.. So at night i applied this mask. During the waiting time, there's no uncomfortable, itchy or something i felt, so it was good. i left it for 15 minutes and checked, the mask still not drying and still good so i continued until 20 minutes or so, then removed it.
The result...?
i felt my face hydrated, thanks for this mask..no dry flakes..but too bad the effect didn't last long. until the next day my face still good and hydrated but the next other day my face started tp get dry again. well i guess in this case when my face need extra care i should apply the mask twice a week. There is also refreshing effect and the skin felt firm to touch, which i like. As the brightening effect, i didn't see much. But it's ok and overall i like this mask. With the affordable price like that, i would definetely buy more variants of this mask.

next is.. my beauty diary aloe mask
I bought this also from chic-princessa for Rp.14.000. my stock is almost finish so maybe next march or april i will have to nuy more of my beauty diary mask sheet. As you might know, my beauty diary mask sheet is one of my fav mask sheet and i've been trying many variants before. This time is aloe! This is the information i got from google;

a week after using baviphat juicy mask sheet, my face get dry again, this one even worse, i got some redness on my cheek, and near mouth area, that sting a little bit when i put emulsion or lotion. it's like a sun burn but not that worse.and some dry flakes to that looks like the skin peeling... ouuuuccchhh. Around 2 or 3 years ago, i found the "magical" of aloe. Ever since i lived in Yemen, there are some time like this (normally during winter) that my face gets so dry, dryflakes and redness, and i found out that the cure is products containing aloe vera. Years ago i found the cure in skin food bb cream aloe and another year before i remember i also used something with aloe vera to cure this problem. So this time, it's a good time to test the magic of aloe again.
When i put the mask on my face, at first there was this sting sensation, which is normal at this time since i got some redness on my face, but thank God it was only the first minute and after that it was gone. i waited for 20 minutes and checked, still good, not drying. still sooo hydrating. so i even continue waiting until 30 minutes Then i removed it and checked on the mirror. voila!!! OMG, the redness was gone!! the dry flakes also gone.. My face looked "normal" !! i was so happy that it cured the redness burn-like on my face. and i could still feel the effect until the next 2or 3 days.. i think the 3rd days the dryness was back. the redness a little but not as bad as before using this mask. oh i wish i have more stock of this...The other effect is also refreshing, fully hydrated and moisturised.
so overall, i like this mask. it worked good as a cure for my dry-sensitive-need extra care skin. i should stock up this mask for SOS time like this.

face mask review : Ovale cucumber mask

When was the last time i was using local brand face mask? uh oh.. i'm still using local brand make up (caring colors from martha tilaar, sari ayu lipstick, etc) but for face mask? it's been a loooong time.. well, it's about time to know and try the local brand right. So when i saw this on the supermarket, i chose 2 varians of Ovale facial mask; cucumber and lemon. This time i will review the cucumber first.

Too bad i threw away the sheet after finish this mask so i can't write you the description on the back of the packaging. This cucumber variant targeted for smooth, fresh and firm, it is written there "for matte looking face"

The texture is thick and creamy, reminds me of a hair creambath creamy texture, in fact the smell also remind me of hair creambath i've tried (can't remember which one).

This is how it looks like if you spread on your face.
how to use :
apply to clean, dry face and neck, avoiding eyes and lips area. Leave dry for 10-15 minutes. rinse off with warm water thoroughly.

So this is a wash off type mask, and the type of mask that will get dry in your face and make your face tight and stiff that you can't talk during the application of the mask. It's been more than 2 years i've been using korean type wash off mask, that most of them didn't give me this tightening and stiff effect, so it's kind of funny to experience this kind of mask again. And one more uncomfortable thing is that it really hurt my eyes. Although i didn't apply near my eyes, but still this mask somehow hurted my eyed (pedih pedih gitu deh). During the applicatin it didn't give me itchy feeling, only tight and stiff.

The result?
so after 10-15 minutes i rinsed it off, and yes, it's easier with warm water because it's a little bit sticky, the only result i could see was my face became whiter instantly. woa... i noticed it straight away how whiter and brighter.. but of course, only temporarily effect. I didn't feel extra moisturised or firm that i like (or hoped) from a mask effect, you know, that effect that makes you keep touching your face to feel the firm, smooth and moisturised face after mask. So if you want instant fresh, whiter and brighter looking skin, you can try this one.

For me, i will not repurchase this one but i don't mind trying the other variant from this ovale mask. maybe the cucumber is jut not for me. i;ll try and see the lemon one if it's better for me.

mask review : skin food ancient rice pack & aloe mask sheet

skin food ancient rice pack powder and essence

This is the mask from the previous skin food travel set i reviewed, the ancient rice set. This one contain a small sachet, looks like sugar sachet, contain powder powder, and a liquid essence in this small jelly like plastic container. I was looking on skinfood website for this product, and unfortunetely i couldn't find it. hummmm?? i was wondering, is it only produced special for this set, or it is that i can't find it on skinfood english website. maybe it is available on the korean version website? i don't know.

But anyway..let's just get started

This is the powder mask. the colour is brownish.. the testure is just like a powder but not that soft.. maybe like a flour or wheat flour. the scent? o my God.. it smells just like a cereal for baby!! smells like those first food fod for little baby.. really remind me of my daughter's food when she was a baby.
So how to u use it, pour the powder inside the essence plastic container, mix it. it would be like pouridge. the smell even stronger, baby cereal!! then i applied all over my face.

I was waiting for awhile, and before 5minutes, i felt itchy all over my face!! i was waiting, hoping the uncomfortable feeling will be gone, but it didn't! it was sooo itchy i couldn't hold it not to scratch so i rushed to the bathroom to wash it off. Gosssshhhh...

After i washed it off, it was ok, no more itchy or redness, thank God, and when i looked my face in the mirror, huh... to be honest, it wowed me. My face looked brighter and whiter like in instant. it also felt soft and moisturised.less than 5 minutes huh. i'm so impressed. too bad that i felt itchy and gave me discomfort.

Skin food aloe mask sheet

This one is skin food aloe mask sheet. I like aloe mask specially for this winter time when my skin tend to get dryer and somethimes itchy, flaky.. and aloe gave this sooth effect. By now i'm already impressed with mask from korea and taiwan, and this one also a good one for me. it gave me extra moisturized skin, extra fresh face. But what i like more from this is the size of the mask sheet, it fit my face perffectly. not too big, not too small, not causing too much fold here and there. so yeah, i like it!

mask pack review : Baviphat mangos teen yogurt park & vov daily fresh mini pack appla AHA peeling gel

woaa.. what a long title. lol. well, i have this to mini pack that only available for 2-3 times use, so i guess i'll make it short and review both in one post.

First, it's Baviphat Mango steen yogurt pack

what a cute packaging, as usual. The packaging is like butter or jam, cute and easy to carry around if you want to take some mask pack while you are travelling.

open the cap, you can see those light milky purple gel/cream like.

the texture is creamy-gel, similar like etude house yogurt pack or innisfree apple pack. Those 3 products are similar in packaging, texture and function actually.

This one, my first impression, it smells yummyyy.. smells like creamy yogurt, the yummy one.. made me want to sniff more and more.
So i applied this one night after cleansing my face, then waited for around 10 minutes then washed it off. i didn't experience any itchy or discomfort during waiting time. and when i washed it off, it felt sticky and i found it easier to wash it off with warm water.
The result? my face looked brighter instantly. yup, instantly and doesn't last long till the next day though. but it's quite good, i felt moisturised and brighter even for awhile.


Next is.. VOV daily fresh mini pack Apple AHA peeling gel

This one is actually a peeling gel. for a peeling gel this sachet is quite a lot, i can use it more than 3 times. Because you don't need that much to use on your face. a little amount is enough.

The texture is a very thick gel. it smells a little scent of apple, but not too strong and not too sweet and delicious scent.

How to use it, after cleansing your face, apply this peeling on dry face, rub it around gently, until it scrubed off like in the picture above. those gel will turn into small tiny scrubs particel, scrub it off from your face then wash off.

the result? well it's quite good peeling. i felt my face so soft when i touched it after. Not the best peeling anyway, i've tried better peeling than this. But for alternative, it's ok and i will continue using it until it finish.

  My experience with My beauty diary mask mixed berry
  
  
  When i first take it out from the packaging, i teared it a bit! i don't know why, but i never teared a mask sheet before.. This one i teared the chin area.. woooopppsss.. but Thank God i can still use it.
  So, my first impression would be the scent. well, it smells sweeet... and delicious. the kind i like. it smells like a berry bubble gum.
  I applied it on my face, so watery. easy to fit on my face. Then lay down and wait. No itchy or uncomfotable feel. After 20 minutes i checked, still not drying. in fact still wet. I checked again after 25 minutes, only the forehead area started to dry, but the cheek and other area still wet. So i wait again a little while before i took it off.
  Once the mask was off of my face, i gave a little massage aroung my face with the liquid left. I could smell the nice berry scent once again, and it was sooo nice feeling all the moisturizer absorbed. The result? Brightening effect? checked! yup.. it brightens my face instantly. i looked sooo fresh and glowing after the mask. Firming? checked. not just firm but also extra moisturised. And there is also other effect i got, which is i felt it tighten my pores on the nose area too! woaaa.. love it. it seems like it's good for combination skin since i felt my nose area smooth and tighten (the pores) while it moisturized other areas like cheek and forehead.

Mask sheet review : VOV daily fresh mask green tea collagen

After trying some Vov daily fresh wash off pack, now i'm trying the mask sheet version. it's green tea collagen. The packaging is same like any other vov mask, with a shape of an old style bottle, only the mask sheet version is bigger than the wash off pack.

I'm glad that there is english information on the packaging, although some words are still weird :). but anyway, here is the information on the packaging :

My experience with Vov daily fresh mask green tea collagen :

When i opened the packaging and taking off the mask sheet, i was quite surprised, that there is also part to cover my eyes. it's the first time i found a mask sheet like this. normally the eyes part would be left opened, you know.. with holes for the eyes. but this one will also cover your eyes. Take a look at this;

Can you see the eyes area? i thought, woaaa,, it means i have to close my eyes during my application? because normally i would read a book or playing games on ipad during mask application. But i thought, wait, this will even better. i bet this will give a nice treatment and refreshment on the eyes, specially below eyes area. So i applied it, wait.. it's too big... yeah, the mask size is a little too big and too wide for me. it's a little bit hard to adjust it on my face. Many folds here and there. But finally i managed it. i closed my eyes, laid down and wait.  Niceeeeee....

After 15 minutes, i started to feel that the mask was getting dry on some part. Not like my beauty diary mask that after 20 minutes still not dry, this one get dry quicker. and after 20 minutes when i removed the mask, not much essence left on my face. But overall, during and after application i didn't get any itchy or uncomfortable felling. everything seems good.

Result? nice fresh looking face, a little brighter face, but im moisturizing effect, compare to my beauty diary mask sheet, my beauty diary is better. But i still like this mask because it covers eyes area too. it gave a special treatment on the eyes too. I have this dark circle around my eyes, and it was nice to cover my eyes with a refreshing mask like this too.

I just wih that they sell this on store like watson or century in jakarta (or tell me if you know which offline store sell this), because it's just too unconvinient to order mask sheet online, unless you are also buying some other stuff, then it's ok to put this on the list too.

Mask pack review : Nature republic fruit mousse therapy Nutrition banana Mousse Pack

Are you ready for another cute korean product?
Here i have Nature republic Fruit mousse therapy Nutrition Banana Mousse pack! woaa.. that's a long name! why it's cute? because it's different than other mask pack. it's a mousse! just like whipped cream... yummyy...
well, before i tell you my experience with this product, let me give you some information about this cutie.

Information from the packaging (yup, there's english information there)

Fruits mousse therapy is a mousse pack which revitalizes the skin with ingridients containing abundant vitamins and nutrients extracted from fresh fruits. This soft foam removes dead skin cells and helps improve skin tone and texture.
Nutrition effects for aa types of skin
This product helps remove old dead skin cells, leaving skin soft, smooth and refreshed.
Directions:
After shaking the can fully, take a fair amount on to your hands, and massage with a circular motion on your clean face, avoiding eye and mouth area.leave on for about five to ten minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.

What i think about this product..
First, the packaging..
it comes in this aerosol can with a shape like hair spray or small whipped cream..
the cap is plastic and easy to open, and taraaaaa...

 isn't it looks just like a whipped cream? You shake it first, and press the top and the mousse cream will come out.. niceee...

the scent..
i was hoping it will smell like sweet banana milk shake, but i don't really smell any banana flavour there.. it's more like vanilla or whippe cream smell. it smells lovely anyway, so like it.

the texture
it's moussy-whipped cream type! so cute..

look at that... looks so yummy.. it reminds me of the real whipped cream for your cappuccino or dessert treat. i thought it would be similar texture like etude house magic bubble peeling.. but it's not... it's different. if etude house magic bubble peeling will get flatten/get dry and peel when you rub it, this one will stay as a mousse mask cream type. can you imagine your face covered with whipped cream?

yup, of course the most important thing here is the result? welll,,, i hate to say this, because it's a cute product but...the result is almost nothing. i'm so dissapointed. no soft feeling or extra moisturized or firmer skin.The information on the packaging promised soft, smooth and refreshed. well, no soft and smooth result. refreshed? yeah, but refreshed just like after you wash your face only. nothing special, although i tried to use this continuesly every week, still it's just same. it doesn't feel like a mask pack or give a mask pack effect. it's just like a facial wash :(
so let's say that it's just cute product, Nice idea, but that's it. nothing i can praise execpt the cute mousse-cream texture.
But anyway, since it didn't give me any breakout or bad effect, i will just continue using it..

mask review : VOV daily fresh wash off pack volcanic powder

Another VOV wash off pack variant... so far my favourite is the egg one.. now let's check this volcanic powder. Volcanic powder? hummmm i had a bad experience with volcanic based mask... rrrrrrr i wrote it on my multiply page, i don't know if i copied it here (will check it later). To make it short, the point is that i had a breakout, itchy, etc from my first volcanic mask i picked out randomly from the drugstore (century or guardian? hmm.. can't remember). Anyway,  years later i decided to try again because i read about benefit of volcanic powder for skin. and the reason to try it now is because i have some problem with my skin these days. large pores and white heads on my nose, dry flakes near cheek area, under nose area, and fore head, plus some small zits on forehead area... rrrrggggghhhh.
 i really hoped this mask will help.

texture and scent

the texture is light creamy lotion with some grey-ish powder in it. the scent is similar with my previous volcanic mask. i think all volcanic mask will smell similar just like this.

my experience and result
after cleansing, i applied this mask evenly. it's easy to apply. the texture is not that sticky type mask so it's easy to spread evenly. you can use your hand or mask/pack brush. then i waited for 15 minutes. after 10 minutes i started to feel the mask getting harder and dry. Before i applied this i looked for information on the net about this mask, and there is information from one beauty page ( i forgot and i didn't save it) explain about how you wash it off the mask, first, you can rinse it off with water just like any other wash off pack mask, or when it gets dry you can scrub it off like a peeling gel/peeling mask. Just do what you prefer.

Well, after 15 minutes, i touched my face and it wasn't really dry but also not wet. it looked like this :

there are some cracking like it's about to peel off.
so i thought, ok let's just massage it and scrub it off.
so i did, i massage with circular motion and the mask transformed like a peeling gel, with all the mask peeled off like this;

the moment i scrubed it off, i could feel my skin soooo soft and moisturised. there is some oil residue too, like the volcanic powder melted giving some nice moisturised feeling. then i continue wash the residue with water.

result?
i'm impressed!!! my skin felt soooo smoooth and soft, extra moisturised too. all those dry flakes are gone. the next day also no dry flakes anymore.i like it! if there is one thing i don't like is only the smell. i prefer sweet and delicious smell for my skin care products than natural-herb kind smell like this.
but overall, it's a great product, and definetely on the top 2 vov mask with the egg one.

Yup, another my beauty diary mask, just different variant. My beauty diary mask is one of my fav mask sheet because of the cheap price and many variants available to try. This one is sake yeast mask. My experience with my beauty diary sake yeast mask

First impression for me would be the scent. at first, it smells... nothing. i tried to sniiff on the mask to check how is the scent. nothing. ok then, so i put it on my face.
the mask size is pretty standard, it's easy to apply evenly on my face, not too big so not too much folding here and there. i waited for 20 minutes. during the mask sheet on, no itchy feel, no uncomfortable feeling, everything was just nice, a little bit cold at first, and after 20 minutes the mask still not drying. so i continued for some more minutes until i felt the forehead area started drying. i peeled off, and massage the leftover liquid. Oh. until forgot to mention, after that 20 minutes, the mask started smell something... expired. What..
yeah, it started to smell unpleasant. i was wondering how come i didn't smell anything before i put the mask on but later it started to smell weird....hehe. seriously.is it only me or anyone else feel the same? i read one of the review on blogger and she said one thing she doesn't like is the smell, and she could smell it from the beginning.
The result? just like any other my beauty diary mask, brighten, fresh, moisturised, whiter, healthy looking skin! but the result is temporary only.

For me, this is not my favourite my beauty diary mask because of the scent. Other my beauty diary mask smell more pleasant and sweet. so this one i will not repurchase.

Mask review : VOV daily fresh multi vita egg peel off pack

Two days ago i tried this cute peel off mask from VOV. I tried it before sleeping, and i just put the packaging on the side of my table, the next morning, it was gone!my maid threw it away! she thought it's a garbage. well, actually there is some product left there i was planning to use for my nose area. hehe..well, that's why i will just make this a short post, and i can't show you the picture of the max texture. Even the picture above i just searched on google.

anyway, this is a peel off type mask, and it's an egg, which is good for your pores or oily skin. Lately i noticed more white heads and bigger pores on my nose. So i switched my skin care to etude house mini size u pore (review coming on next week or after i finish it), and this would be a good time to try this mask!
First, the packaging is cute, looks like a sheet mask packaging. the texture is very very thick with transparant colour. My note is, make sure you use a headband and tie back your hair, because it could be messy if your hair stick to your face.

so, i applied evenly on my face, wait 15-20minutes until dry or you think it's ready to peel off. Result? Great! i could see some white heads from my nose stick to the mask. i was surprised with that. it's better than the face shop and baviphat mud nose pack, both have same type and purpose-for pores, peel off type (review coming up, still want to see more result from those 2 products). and this vov mask is better in taking off those whiteheads on my nose. so i'm happy!! if only they have this in a tube or big bottle, i would buy it.

mask review : Baviphat juicy mask sheet strawberry

This is my first mask sheet from Baviphat. For the last 2 years i have been using my beauty diary mask sheet, trying all variants available, just simply because it's cheap. so when i saw one of the seller sell this item with the same price with my beauty diary. i bought 2 to try out.

the packaging is cute, not like any other mask sheet with square shape packaging, this one comes with a jug/juice bottle shape. Last night i tried the strawberry one, which the target is for pore&trouble.

my experience with Baviphat juicy mask sheet strawberry;
First, the shape of the mask is not too big or too small, but also not a perfect fit for my face, but still ok. the scen is strawberry, but not too yummy or fresh smell. maybe a little bit too artificial smell for me, and after some minutes the smell dissapeared.

So after washing my face i put this mask on and lay down on the bed, enjoying me-time, feeling the mask giving me this cold-nice-moisturised feeling. From the picture on the back of pachaging, i should put this on for 15-20 minutes. it was all good, no uncomfortable feeling, only just before 20 minutes, maybe aroung 18-19 minutes, i started feeling itchy all over my face. so i just took it off my face and massage my face with the leftover liquid from the mask.

the result,fresh and brighten look. my face looks whiter. and reaaallllly fresh. no tired, dull face. but too bad, the result is temporary only, not last long until the next day. But overall, i still like it and i don't mind buying more to try other variants. the only think i don't like is the itchy at the end of 20 minutes. maybe i should just put it on for 15 minutes before it gets itchy.
i can't tell for other effect of this mask, well, its target is for pore and trouble, but i think i need to use this regularly to see result for that.

mask review : skin food gold kiwi hydrating mask

As you can read on my previous post about skin food gold kiwi skin care set, this is another stuff from the same line, which is gold kiwi hydrating mask. i bought only one for tester (it comes in small small plastic container like butter or jam for breakfast). Well, the full size is actually comes with 10 of them. Anyway, better show you with pictures;

heeemmm, so i guess it's 2in1 product. first, you can use it as a regular wash off mask, and second you can use it as a sleeping pack. or even 3in1 if you count how you can use this also for any part of your body. as for me, i wont use it for body. let's stick with the face with this.

what i think about it..

• first, the scent is sweet fragrance, not something i expected from skin food's product. I always expected skin food's product to smell yummy and delicious. hehe. this one is not even smell like kiwi or at least fruity? it is just regular sweet scent, like the other set of this line, only a little bit stronger.
• the texture is very thick gel, pale yellow-ish colour

 

now i will tell you my experience using this as a wash off mask. Yesterday, i felt my skin started to have the same usual problem. i got this problem once in awhile since i lived here in Yemen, especially when the weather gets very dry and windy, my skin will be very sensitive and dry. dry-flaky patch here and there, burning or hot sensation when i apply toner and lotion, some redness, even sometimes some red spots. arrrrggghhhh. so i thought, this would be a good time to try this mask which is claimed for "hydrating". so i applied it al over my face. i didn't apply all because i wanted to try the rest for sleeping mask. Even before one minute after this mask applied on my face, it started to give me this burning and hot sensation, plus itchy all over my face. i felt like i wanted to wash it off straightaway. but i waited. after 5 minutes or so, that feeling was gone and it was ok. So, i think it's not suitable for sensitive skin. i shoud try again when my skin back to normal condition. 

After 10 minutes, i washed it off with water. there was this warm feeling during that proccess. it was easy to wash off, not sticky like some other wash off mask. The result is.... nothing, really. seriously. it was just after i wash my face with cleansing product.

overall, i'm dissapointed. this mask did nothing to me. in fact it feels just any regular lotion, not a mask. so if you are still interested, try one as a tester first to see if it works for you. Because maybe it's just my skin is in a bad conditon and needs something else contain aloe vera. if your skin is normal, maybe it will work for you.

update on march 14th, 

i just tried it again last night as a sleeping mask, i applied this as the last step of my night skin care. applied just like lotion, not too much because i'm affraid it would be sticky. the result is actually not bad. it kept my skin moisturised during the night. i guess this one is better as a sleeping mask than a wash off mask.
